It’s always special when a living legend can be included in the NC Musician Murals Trail project. Congrats to Cole on the release of The Fall-Off, his seventh No. 1 album. The Fayetteville tour stop in September should be crazy; here’s a wall I finished last summer in the city. #ncmm #jcole @dreamvillefest @realcoleworld @dreamville @fayettevillestateuniversity @cityoffayetteville @snurkin @themuralshop taken in Fayetteville, North Carolina by @themuralshop

I have broken my beloved NC borders and ventured into the beautiful foothills of Virginia to honor one of that state’s greatest products, the incomparable and brilliant artisan guitar builder, Wayne Henderson. I am incredibly fortunate to meet a lot of cool and interesting folks doing what I do, it’s one of the perks of my occupation. Meeting Wayne was one for the books. If you have never heard of Wayne let me just sum it up by saying that every exceptional acoustic guitar builder in the world knows who Wayne Henderson is. Eventually I’ll post more thoroughly about all of this over at @ncmusicianmurals but for now I felt like it was time to post new content because I really suck at doing that. #waynehenderson #luthier #guitarbuilder taken in Independence, Virginia by @themuralshop

A local legend was celebrated yesterday in Carrboro/Chapel Hill with a gang of musical friends and artists leading a second line procession through town followed by a floating old school jam at Local 506. Danny was always the coolest and certainly the best dressed cat in town. Also one of the nicest and friendliest humans you were ever lucky enough to meet. And of course a killer drummer and musician. Beyond honored to paint him up on an alley wall he stood outside of a million times. RIP Danny Mason. ❤️❤️❤️ by @themuralshop

A few florals from awhile ago. Actually it was exactly during the Depp/Heard trial bc I remember listening to that while painting these. It’s weird how a project can isolate a time for you. That was was a weird time. Anyway this was post-COVID and everyone was all about flora and fauna coming out of doom and gloom. Which I hope continues because it’s a top 3 subject matter to paint. by @themuralshop

Here’s a recent painting I did of my friend’s father who was a pro wrestler in the late 70s/early 80s with his father posing in front of it today. This is at their incredible new place @fizz_ed_boone in downtown Boone, NC. Coincidentally located in the building the @ncmusicianmurals painting of Doc and Merle happens to hang. This place crushes so gooooo by @themuralshop

This is part of a much larger mural in the new(Ish) Lowe’s building parking deck in Southend, Charlotte from 2022. I was maxi chuffed to see these young kids pose in front of it. Trying to post thing I’ve been sitting on for the last couple of years. by @themuralshop

It’s been a minute. Gonna start posting more I promise. Here is a new mural of civil rights activist and legal scholar Pauli Murray in Hillsborough, NC. This was designed in conjunction with the Orange County Office of Equity and Inclusion. by @themuralshop

2022 is the year of flora and fauna murals. I think it’s a reaction to people being cooped up the last 2 years. Rebirth, growth. Lots of em happening and I ain’t complaining. But I am real lazy about posting over on this acct. I promise to do better. Thanks for your interest, I am extremely lucky to get to do what I love for a living. 🌿🌱🌾🌸🌷🌴🌼🌳 by @themuralshop
