Trying out @themustardseeddeli in Lutz, Fl

I've been hearing great things about The Mustard Seed Deli and saw that their September special was a Philly Cheesesteak sandwhich with shaved ribeye, cooper white cheddar cheese, carmalized onions, and a cherry pepper relish. So, I had to go try it.

They had so many great sandwhich, wrap, salad, and side options. Besides getting the Philly special, I also decided to try a cold sandwhich. For my cold sandwhich, I went with the Cranston. A tuna salad with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, and a herb aioli.

Both sandwiches were so delicious.

The Philly was beefy, well seasoned, cheesy, a little sweetness from the carmalized onions, and a little tang/spice from the cherry pepper relish. 8 / 10.

The Cranston was juicy, bright, herby, fresh, and just straight up delicious! 8.5 / 10.

All in all, imo, the hype I've heard about The Mustard Seed Deli is real; definitely worth the drive.

First time at @themustardseeddeli and I finally understand the hype 🥪🤤

The Dante was SO good, perfectly balanced, the bread on all of these sandwiches is a 10/10. But the Vita?! If you love a classic Italian sandwich, that is your girl.🤏🏻

I was most excited for the chicken caesar wrap and while it was still good, I expected way more of that classic caesar flavor. Maybe a little overhyped for me 👀

And somehow, on a 90° Florida day, the tomato soup was the best thing?! Creamy, SO flavorful, and dipping the sandwiches in it??? You just have to trust me.

My order next time: Vita + tomato soup. No question. 🤌🏼
