You feel responsible for other people’s moods.
If they’re upset, you need to fix it.
If they’re disappointed, you feel guilty.
If there’s tension, you need to resolve it.
If they’re struggling, you feel responsible for making it better.

So you monitor.
Manage.
Reassure.
Accommodate.
Anticipate.

Eventually, you’re not just experiencing your own emotional life.
You’re carrying everyone else’s too.
And that emotional over-responsibility often has two destinations:
Burnout and resentment.
Because when you repeatedly make yourself responsible for how everyone else feels, their emotional comfort starts costing you your own.
Their emotions can matter to you without becoming your responsibility.

Protecting your energy, includes strong unapologetic boundaries. And accessing YOUR role in someone’s healing journey, where does it start, where does it end?

A healers job is to illuminate the path, not to walk it, or control the outcome.

⚡ THE ENERGY AUDIT CHALLENGE ⚡
Think of one goal, new beginning or change that has repeatedly failed to gain momentum.

Write it down.
Now, instead of asking yourself “Why can’t I make this happen?”, look backwards.
What ended before this new beginning was supposed to start?

A relationship? A job? A friendship? An identity? A plan? A version of your life you thought you were going to have?

Now ask yourself:
Where did the energy from that ending actually go?
Did you redirect it into building something new?
Or did it go into overthinking what happened, replaying conversations, trying to save something that had already ended, seeking answers, resisting the change, or simply trying to survive it?
And perhaps your nervous system shut you down completely.

Don’t automatically interpret that pause as failure.
Sometimes your system is buying you something incredibly valuable:
Time.
Time to reassess.
Time to recover.
Time to refuel.
Time to decide where your energy goes next.
Now return to the goal you wrote at the beginning.
What are you still feeding that no longer deserves the energy required to maintain it?
Name it.
Then choose one small place to redirect that energy this week.

You may not need to find more energy.
You may need to become more intentional about where the energy you already have is going⚡

Being authentic often means carving out a story with shoes no one else can fill.

You are your own blueprint in motion.
Your choices, contradictions, failures, reinventions, strange little obsessions, the things you refused to dilute to make yourself easier to understand. You are creating your lore, your story, and you never know who it will inspire.

There is only one version of you with your exact history, mind, instinct and way of moving through the world.

There’s only one YOU.
That’s your magic ✨
