City girl meets woodland adventures 🌲👑
.
For just a few days, I had the opportunity of trading my heels for the hiking trails of Rolling Ridge Retreat in West Virginia! From getting my hands dirty with volunteer work to stepping outside my comfort zone, this experience was a beautiful reminder that service can take us to places we never expected.
•
Rolling Ridge is dedicated to preserving and caring for the natural environment, making our time giving back an opportunity to contribute to something bigger than ourselves. Experiences like these remind me that making a difference doesn’t always happen on a big stage. Sometimes, it’s the small acts of service that leave a lasting impact.! 🌿💚 taken in West Virginia by @thenamnyelite

Treat every room like your runway. 🍂
.
Clothing is one of the simplest ways we get to express who we are, so why not have a little fun with it? A little fall fashion for a day in the office. 🤎 #nationalamericanmiss #namnyelite by @thenamnyelite

There was a time when using my voice didn’t come as naturally as it does today. Through National American Miss, I’ve had so many opportunities to grow in public speaking, confidence, and using my voice for things that matter to me, not just for myself, but for others too.
•
Over the years, I’ve found different ways to share that voice, and creating content has always been one of them. Vlogging gives me another space to tell my story, share my experiences, and bring people along for the journey.
•
So, I finally put together a little look back at this pretty significant chapter. 🎥

My Miss New York Elite vlog is now on YouTube, link is in my bio!

Today, I pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. 🤍

I was only a year old that day, but I’ve grown up understanding the impact it had on New York, our country, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed.

As Miss New York Elite, I carry a deep appreciation for the history, resilience, and strength of the city and state I represent. Today, I honor those we lost, those who served, and the stories that must never be forgotten.

We remember. 🕊️🇺🇸 by @thenamnyelite

Oftentimes, people ask me, “Why do you keep coming back to NAM?” 🤍
•
And sure, I love getting dressed up, stepping on stage, and everything that comes with being a titleholder. NAM has given me skills in public speaking, interviewing, poise, confidence, and so much more, skills I carry with me into my everyday life and career.
•
But if I’m being completely honest, the friendships are what keep me coming back. 🥹
•
Some of the most genuine friendships I’ve made have come from this organization. From little girls I met years ago to women I’m still connected with today, these relationships have made NAM so much more than a pageant to me. There’s something so special about walking into NAMland and knowing that, no matter how much time has passed, there are familiar faces, new friends, and a sisterhood waiting for you.
•
15 years later, and this system is still so near and dear to my heart. 🤍
•
Here’s to the memories made, the friendships that have lasted, and all the new ones still to come. I can’t wait to meet even more incredible women from across the country as we head to Nationals! 👑✨
