Carrying Nash’s legacy.
Pointing people to Jesus.
Love People Intentionally. ✝️🤍
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Sept. 5th holds such a heavy place in my heart.

365 days since I got the worst phone call of my life.
365 days since my world came crumbling down.
365 days since I slept by your side and held your hand.

This year hasn’t been easy.

I miss the way you laughed. I miss you being goofy and chasing me around the house. I miss your jokes. I miss my best friend. My partner. My cuddle buddy. I miss just reaching over and holding your hand.

The girls miss their daddy. You were such an awesome dad, Nash. They loved you so much, and you loved them so well.

There are parts of that day I don’t think will ever leave me. Getting the call that you had been hit by a car. Walking into the hospital. The smell of the hospital is the kind of smell that somehow stays with you when tragedy happens. Sitting beside you. Holding your hand. Trying to understand how life could change so quickly.

Losing you is the worst. There’s really no prettier way to say it. It sucks. I miss you so much babe.

I would give anything for another laugh. Another goofy moment around the house. Another night beside you. Another chance to reach over and grab your hand.

But even in the deepest pain, I know God is still God. I know He has carried me and the girls through every single one of these 365 days. And I believe with everything in me that He will redeem all of this.

Your life mattered. Your love mattered. Your story still matters.

I love you, babe.
I miss my best friend.
And I’ll keep carrying your love with me until I get to hold your hand again.

The first picture is the last picture we ever took together, just the two of us.

Who would have thought that just a few days later you would be in the presence of God?

This is a vulnerable post because being strong doesn’t mean having it all together. These are real, raw emotions. The pain is heavy, and I know it will be until the day I see Nash again.

But I’ve learned that life is better when we’re real and authentic than when we pretend everything is okay.

We sat around your hospital bed worshipping Jesus. In those moments, I made a decision: I wasn’t going to let your story end there. Your life would continue to have purpose. You touched so many peoples lives.

Every year you traveled to Africa with @kingdomglobal , and last year I took that trip to Nigeria. I met the people who loved you so deeply and the people you loved so well. I’ve marched the streets of Fort Worth chanting the name of Jesus and walked alongside a revival group in Dallas. It reminded me that a life lived for Jesus never stops making an impact.

Grief is awful. It’s painful. But grieving without hope is even more painful.

Somehow, every sunrise and every sunset feels a little closer to heaven now. They remind me that this world isn’t our forever home. They remind me that one day my faith will become sight, and I’ll see you again.

Because of Jesus, I know this isn’t the end of our story. So through my pain, my tears, my sadness, and even my anger, I’ll keep shouting from the mountaintops that God is still good. He is with me when I’m a mess and crying. He is with me when I’m angry, and He is with me when I’m ready to run the marathon and bring every hurting person to Jesus.

I believe that’s what Nash would want.

My prayer is that through The Nash Impact, many people will come to know the same Jesus who changed Nash’s life and continues to carry mine.

And if there’s one thing I hope you walk away knowing, it’s this: You are deeply loved, you are seen, and your life has purpose.

I will honor both Nash and Jesus until the day we are all together!

I believe we are stepping into a time where deception will become harder and harder to recognize.

We live in a world where people spend hours scrolling through reels, listening to opinions, and allowing others to shape what they believe.

And I believe one of the greatest deceptions will be the idea that there is simply one higher power and that, at the end of the day, we all believe the same thing.

But we don’t. And truth matters.

This is why I keep feeling such a strong urgency: READ THE WORD. READ THE WORD. READ THE WORD.

Research what you believe. Study history. Open your Bible. Know WHY you believe what you believe. Don’t allow a 30-second reel to become the foundation of your faith.

Romans 12:2 says:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

How can our minds be renewed if we aren’t spending time in His Word?

As a Christian, one of my greatest desires is to help change the negative stigma surrounding Christianity.

But how do we do that?

By knowing Jesus and allowing His Word to transform how we live and love.

When the Pharisees asked Jesus which commandment was greatest, He answered:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

And the second?

“Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:37–39

Somehow, we’ve become so consumed with proving our points and winning arguments that we forget to demonstrate the heart of the Father.

You can stand firmly on truth and still love people intentionally.

Loving someone doesn’t mean agreeing with everything they believe. Sometimes it means listening, having a conversation, and genuinely caring about the person in front of you.

Jesus didn’t die and rise again because we were good enough or had everything figured out.

He came because He loved us. Even in the middle of our mess.

Church, it’s time to rise up. Not just with louder voices, but with transformed hearts that reflect Jesus.

My heart isn’t to win arguments. It’s to see people encounter Him.

Read the Word. Know the truth. Love people intentionally.

Let’s show the world the real heart of the Father. 🤍 by @thenashimpact

The biggest nudge I keep feeling from the Holy Spirit lately is READ THE WORD. READ THE WORD. READ THE WORD!

We live in a society where we scroll through reel after reel, listening to people tell us what the Bible says, what God is saying, and what His Word means.

But here’s my question: If we never open our Bibles for ourselves, how do we know we’re actually being fed the truth?

I’ve realized that the more boldly I speak about Jesus, the more criticism, negativity, and opposition I seem to encounter.

And it’s reminded me just how important it is to be rooted in TRUTH.

Not just what someone on social media says. Not just what a pastor preaches. Not just what sounds good or makes us feel good.

But what does GOD’S WORD actually say?

We cannot rely on someone else’s relationship with God to sustain our own. We have to know His Word for ourselves.

Because when the voices around us get louder, we need to know how to recognize HIS voice.

Read your Bible. Study it. Ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. Let His Word correct you, strengthen you, encourage you, and transform you.

Don’t just be someone who hears about Jesus. Be someone who KNOWS Him.

🎄 Something Special for Christmas! 🎄

The Nash Impact is working on something special for Christmas!

Our heart is to come alongside a widow or single mom and her children and bless them in a meaningful way this Christmas season.

We believe loving people intentionally means showing up in practical ways and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

If you own a business, work for a company, or simply have a heart to give and would love to play a part in blessing a family this Christmas, we’d love to connect with you!

Send us a message if you’d like to be involved! ❤️

More details coming soon!

I grieve loudly because our love was loud.

We met one summer, started dating that same summer, and within two and a half months, we were engaged. Six months later, we were married. Our love story moved quickly, but it was never shallow. It was passionate, beautiful, and real.

If you knew us, you knew our love was anything but quiet. We experienced mountain highs and valley lows, just like any two people building a life together. We were two imperfect people who loved each other deeply, continually learning, growing, and navigating life’s challenges together.

We had a deep love. A deep connection. The kind of love that leaves an imprint on your soul.

So it only makes sense that my grief is big. Because my love is big. And that love didn’t end when his life on earth did.

And grief isn’t just one loss. It’s a million little losses wrapped into one. It’s grieving all the moments I thought we’d have. The conversations we’ll never get to finish. The memories we were supposed to make. The milestones we were supposed to celebrate together. The ordinary days I never imagined having to live without him.

It’s not just grieving the life we had. It’s grieving the life I thought we’d still get to live.

I don’t think I’ll ever grieve quietly, because I never loved him quietly.

And while I miss him more than words could ever express, I am so thankful that my grief is not without hope.

Because of Jesus, I have the hope of seeing him again. And oh, how I long for that day.

One day, there will be no more death, no more tears, and no more goodbyes.

What a beautiful reunion that will be. 🤍

Jesus is coming soon.

The Bible tells us that the days leading up to His return will be like a woman in labor. The birth pains will increase in frequency and intensity as the time draws near.

We don’t know the day or the hour. Jesus made that clear. But He also told us to watch, to be alert, and to recognize the signs of the times.

And when we look at Scripture and what is happening in the world around us, there is a sense of urgency. Things are lining up. The time is drawing near.

But this isn’t a message of fear, doom, or gloom.

What an incredible time to be alive!

We have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. To love people boldly. To share the Gospel. To see lives transformed and hearts awakened to the truth of who He is.

We weren’t called to live in fear of His return. We were called to live ready, with our lamps burning and our hearts fixed on Him.

The King is coming. Let us be found faithful.

Jesus is coming soon. 🤍

There is no junior Holy Spirit.

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us — and He is moving through the next generation.

Children can preach.
Children can lead worship.
Children can pray for miracles.
Children can share the Gospel.
Children can love the hurting.
Children can reach their city.

They don’t have to wait until they’re adults to be used by God.

Parents, are we raising our children simply to attend church on Sundays — or are we raising them to follow Jesus and change the world?

Are we teaching them that following Jesus goes beyond the walls of a church building?

To notice the lonely.
To pray for the hurting.
To love people who are different from them.
To refuse judgment and let the love of Jesus overflow everywhere they go.

Our children don’t need a watered-down version of Jesus.

They need to know that the same Holy Spirit who moves through adults can move powerfully through them.

Raise them to know Jesus.
Raise them to hear His voice.
Raise them to love people intentionally.
Raise them to carry His presence into their schools, neighborhoods, friendships, and city.

The next generation doesn’t have to wait.

God can use them NOW. 🔥

A story of pain is not the story I wanted for my life.

Losing my husband and becoming a young widow is not the story I wanted. The pain is horrible. There’s no way to sugarcoat that.

But the way Jesus has met me in my grief has been incredible.

God has never left me.

Sometimes the prayers we beg God to answer aren’t answered the way we desperately wanted them to be. And that sucks. I prayed for a different outcome. I wanted a different story.

But I have watched God bring fruit from a place of the pain I have.

Nash’s life left such an impact on this world—and that impact didn’t end when his life here did.

His story is still reaching people. His love for Jesus is still pointing people to Jesus. The way he loved people intentionally is still inspiring others to do the same.

And I believe many people will come to know Jesus because of the impact Nash made while he was here and the impact that continues through the lives he touched.

I would have never chosen this pain.

But I will choose what I do with it.

And if God can take the most painful chapter of my life and use it to point even one person to Jesus, then I will keep telling the story.

From great pain can come great revival.

Nash’s impact continues. 🤎
