Hi, we’re Seher and Michael.
I’m Pakistani and he’s Portuguese—two cultures, two pasts, and two very different life stories. We met in our 40s and started over, and it finally felt right.

What we share is deep respect for one another, a love that feels peaceful, and a commitment to grow together.

We’re both parents. We’ve both been through it all.
We’ve both had to rebuilt our lives.
And somewhere along the way, we found each other and the kind of love we weren’t sure existed.

A man’s real superpower isn’t control, money, or status. It’s safety. ❤️

When a woman feels emotionally and physically safe in her relationship, something shifts. She can soften. She can trust. She can communicate without fear. She can love without constantly protecting herself.

And emotional safety doesn’t mean never disagreeing. It means knowing that even in conflict, there is respect, consistency, reassurance, loyalty, and emotional maturity.

A healthy relationship isn’t about finding someone who never triggers you. It’s about building a relationship where both people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, grow, heal, and love deeply.

Women don’t soften because they’re weak. They soften when they no longer feel like they have to be strong all the time. ❤️

Some things don’t need defending.
They need to be lived. ❤️

At the centre of our marriage is God.

A love for the One who created us.
A desire to know Him, seek Him and walk closer to Him.
And the belief that faith should make our hearts softer, our love greater and our lives more meaningful.

In a world that constantly tries to divide us by labels, we choose to focus on what brings us back to the One.

May our home always be a place where God is remembered, where love is practiced, where differences are met with understanding, and where we continue walking toward Him together.

Eight months ago, I watched something I worked so hard to build fall apart. And now here I am, putting my clinic back together piece by piece… but this time, with someone incredible standing beside me helping me rebuild it.

This year has not been easy. I’ve gone through some really difficult moments, and through every single one of them, my partner stood beside me.

He didn’t walk away when things got hard. He didn’t leave me to figure everything out on my own. He stepped in and said, “We’ll figure it out together.”

And I think that’s what hits me the most.

Because for so much of my life, THAT was the piece I was missing.

I knew what it was like to love someone. I knew what it was like to give everything I had to a relationship. But I didn’t know what it felt like to truly have a partner, someone who stays beside you through thick and thin, especially when Sh** hits the fan.

Now I do.

And I genuinely pray that everyone gets to experience this kind of companionship at least once in their life. Someone who doesn’t just celebrate with you when life is good, but gets down on the floor beside you and helps you pick up the pieces when it isn’t.

Today we’re rebuilding my clinic.

But looking at this video, I realize we’ve been building so much more than that together.
