I made this video with one of my favourite bands. To see the full thing head over to @MassiveWagons and check the link in bio.

It’s a great song. I loved it immediately and the video has turned out brilliant. It’s got a great message behind it, which, asides from the music, is one of the things that made me want to do it.

Can’t stress this enough. I was struggling for literally decades until I started asking for help. Thought everyone must have the same stuff going on in their heads and I was over sensitive. Settled into feeling like shit for the rest of my days. Anyway, I asked for help and eventually I got it. Not the first time. And not the second time. But eventually I got help and now I’ve been diagnosed with a type of bipolar, I’m on some medication that seems to be working and I’m not thinking about killing or hurting myself every moment of every day. Jesus Christ. Can I even say I’m happy? Most of the time, yeah.

Massive Wagons are an incredible band. I’ve seen them live a bunch of times and met them all and got to watch them filming their bits at The Alhambra, an old crumbling music hall on the sea front in Morecambe, when I was up there filming last month. What a great time. What a great gang. Go and check them out!

And please, if you’re struggling talk to your mates, talk to your doctor, talk to your family, talk to strangers, but if you’re struggling with your mental health, confused with your emotions or feeling low, talk to someone. It CAN and DOES get better

I love you all.

Obrigado from Portugal! ✌️😎

Thanks again for the birthday messages! Had a brilliant day. Went to the @anish.kapoor exhibition at the @hayward.gallery on the Southbank in the morning with my fellow Birthday Boy @mrharryhill. Amazing exhibition. Go and see. Some mind boggling stuff and doesn’t take too long. Received a hand carved shoe horn which should help a lot now that I am a whole year older. Very honoured. Then took @standupandrew, @joebor1 and @basshorse to see The Texas Chain Saw Massacre at @princecharlescinema for their first time. I think they all really liked it and the highlight of my day was listening to Joe hyperventilate into his hands for about 20 minutes towards the end. We Survived! Then me and @basshorse got lunch at Burger and Lobster before I went home had a pint by myself and then met up with my family for curry, cake and charades. Lots of fun. Thanks everyone! by @thenickhelm

🔊 LISTEN TO THE MUSIC THAT SHAPED THE SCRIPT 🔊

📃 Script development on this project took over 2 years to get right with @trussaaron and Joe Acres, with assistance from @jakewest_director. In that time, music played a crucial part in setting mood and helped us tap into the world and characters that we were trying to create 🔥

🤓 Now, we're sharing the music with you as part of our KICKSTARTER crowdfund! The very tracks that guided us through late nights with the artists that inspired us! 📻

Head on over to our Kickstarter and listen for yourself and help support us! 🎧

Had an amazing poetry gig at @youngvictheatre this week for @shedinburgh_fest. Thanks everyone that made it. I think my new It Will Always Hurt a Bit project will turn out to be really special so means a lot people are turning up for me. Keep your eyes peeled for a tour announcement for late next year as soon as I’ve organised it all.

I was joined on stage by my wonderful and talented friend and everyone’s favourite @joedacosta_comedy who accompanied me on Gee-Tar. I love being onstage with other people. I like being a solo stand up too, but when you have someone else to bounce off, it brings a whole different energy to it and sometimes you need to use the excuse of work to actually hang out with your mates for a bit.

My Mum, Dad and Sister came along and brought their friends John and Nikki and we had a lovely dinner after. Perfect night.

My Shedinburgh gigs in Edinburgh and London were both so much fun and different from my usual stuff so felt really good to stretch a different muscle in my brain. And was a rare to treat to bump into @sara.pascoe in the green room, although no photos.

Anyway, thanks so much everyone for being there and thanks Shedinburgh for having me. Congratulations on a wonderful season of high class entertainment.

Anyway, it’s my birthday this week and got loads of stuff in my Linktree - album, merch, cameo, @eotdmovie kickstarter and Fuck Fest 11 tickets, so if you want to celebrate with me you can fill your boots there.

Thanks everyone! I love you all! ✌️🥳 by @thenickhelm

If this is the kind of nonsense we were talking about before we started, imagine the chaos of the episode! Lovely bit of toenail trauma-bonding to start us off 🤮

I chatted with the brilliant cast and crew of @eotdmovie about their Kickstarter campaign 🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️ I’ve backed the project myself and cannot wait to see what sounds like the most beautiful love letter to genre cinema and a dear friend.

The full episode is up on YouTube and podcast platforms now. Make sure you check out the crowdfunder and go follow and share to support an amazing indie film 🖤

Had a great night out at @thelondonpalladium with @natmetcalfecomedy last night to see The Prat Pack - Bradley Walsh, Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale - and it was genuinely amazing. Great night. Thanks @laura_claxton for the opportunity. You were with us in spirit. One of the best nights out I’ve had this year, if not ever. Xx by @thenickhelm
