happy 5th birthday to Northie Lou 🐾💕

10.20.20

she is truly one of a kind. loyal, sassy, funny, adventurous, loving and all the things you hope for in a pup. she has grown into the best companion and friend and LOVES so deeply. her inner circle is her inner circle and she takes care of them. cheers to another year around the sun and to even more squeaky barks!

A little bit of curiosity and a little bit of annoyance = the ultimate velcro pup during a home renovation. 🔨✨🫪

North only howls when she hears sirens or we howl at her. Everytime it makes us laugh with how low and girlie it sounds. 😂

We had been looking for months for a female mini aussie with a tail and finally found one in Alabama. We put a deposit down and were going to pick her up in January 2021. 👀

Well... I was part of multiple FB groups and it was New Year's eve 2020 and we were in Bishop, CA and I saw this puppy in one of the comments. Her original new family backed out last minute. She was now 10 weeks and needed a home. I don't know what hit me, but I knew she was meant to be part of our family. 🥺

I immediately reached out. Asked all the right questions and that was it. The next day we were driving 8+ hours all the way to Nevada to pick her up.

The original breeder in Alabama was so understanding. And allowed us to pull our deposit. She was so so lovely and I know those pups went to amazing homes. ❤️

Flash to now...2026. North has been the BEST decision of our lives. She goes everywhere with us. She is full of love, light and sassiness. And I truly can't imagine a life without her. ❤️ by @thenorthaussie
