The battle between negative self-talk and growth mindset is a constant, but ultimately it’s your choice who wins! ..Honestly choosing growth mindset over negative self-talk is super hard at times, but look at it as a skill you are developing overtime. Don’t allow negative self-talk to suppress the gifts and talents God has given you. The only person that can hold you back is yourself. Incoming photo dump from @instajemcon 2025 in Charlotte,NC……… (PART 1)..Y’all words can’t express how blessed I felt to attend JemCon this past weekend. This was one of the best fandom conventions I have ever gone to. I remember making an attempt to go to JemCon in Connecticut a few years ago, but the timing wasn’t right. Soooooo back in April I did a thing and I’m just now finding the time to post about it. 😂 I joined the Monopoly Lifesized Game Host crew!! Hey friends, I’m Rainbow Boot! 🌈👢😁..This has been one of the BEST experiences I have ever had as a cosplayer/performer. Not only do I have so much fun every time I go to work, but I’m always learning and growing in my skills as a performer. When you decide to go an anime event cosplaying as a 1990’s Japanese Cyberpunk character…… “Alita Battle Angel” that is (aka Gunnm). Y’all know we got to keep it nostalgic around here lol. ..Shoutout to @blkgamerleague and @blumestudiosclt for putting on a super dope event! I had a great time nerding out with like minded peeps like @agaxgamers . Oh and the cosplay contest put on by @cocoakage was a whole vibe. Shoutout to all the winners! 🎉👏🏾👏🏾 The vendors were amazing as well. Especially @inari.shrine.cafe . Not only does she makes the most creative 3D printed keychains I’ve ever seen, her story is soooo INSPIRING and it truly explains the why behind her business. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾..Last but not least, shoutout to my crazy fun coworker @getartistpaid and her roomie Sarah @missmaitart (who’s an amazing sketch artist btw). I’m still blown away by the anime picture she drew of me in like 15 minutes. My girl got mad skillz ya’ll.
