OCTOBER EDITION - OUT NOW

Well, isn’t the weather looking lovely? The sun is shining and spring is in the air. It smells like fresh music news, sounds like new tunes, and looks a lot like a piping-hot issue of The Note has landed.

// For all the UK music lovers out there, we sat down with James Marriott, who opened up about his newest single, ‘Burn Down The Disco’, and discussed how his older work has shaped his sound today. Check it out on page 10.

// Next up, The Vaccines stopped by for an incredible chat about how their debut album is about to take them around the country, 15 years on, and the legacy of this monumental record.

// Stand Atlantic is back, bigger and better. Making her mark on page 13, frontwoman Bonnie Fraser gets candid about writer’s block, an undying love for performing live, and the band’s new record, GODBREATH.

Pivoting back to our SA roots, we catch up with flare-wearing, whimsical darlings @caressatheband ahead of their performance at the Semaphore Music Festival. Plus, hear from groove-laden @sistermoonshine.band jumping on this year’s stacked Space Jams lineup.

Then, we’re gearing you up for some shows you simply can’t skip, news from the SA Music Hall of Fame, sensational snaps by @justinwhitey and fresh reviews of the latest tunes from our home turf by @druidfluids @effie.isobel @ktolsson @pearlystarsband @sofiamenguita and @themushniks

That’s a wrap from us! Hope this month is choc-a-block full of music-y goodness.

Get a free copy of The Note at your local stomping grounds, fav eateries, great SA venues and plenty more good spots. Head online to find your closest stockist 🤘🏻 taken in Adelaide, South Australia by @thenotemagsa

@jamesmarriott is gearing up to release his third studio album ‘Warning Signs’, but before that, he’s heading to Australia for his biggest headline tour to date 🙌🏻💛

He has sold out his debut headline show here in Adelaide, and we got to sit down with the UK singer/ songwriter ahead of his trip here.
