From the moment suppliers arrive to the final touches before your guests take their seats, they’re the calm presence behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly. While you’re getting ready and soaking up every moment, they’re coordinating the details so you can simply enjoy your day.

🌙Our Night Event Managers... Isaac & Tembo
As the celebrations continue, Isaac and Tembo take the reins; welcoming your evening suppliers, helping guests find their way, coordinating taxis, and making sure the party keeps flowing right through to the last dance.

Our Pole Barn is only one of three uniquely different reception barns at the farm (and yes, you get to use them ALL!) It can be whatever you want it to be: a game's room, a cocktail bar, a photo backdrop, a place for cake cutting or speeches, confetti, fun, and everything in between!

🌱🌼LET IT BLOOM 🌼🌱

What an astonishing display…A&K knew exactly what they wanted when it came to their flowers: bold and beautiful, fresh and plentiful, vibrant yet completely natural.

They chose the talented Jo from @moody_blooms , local to us and such a wonderful asset to the farm. Jo personally ensured every single bloom was freshly cut and beautifully displayed. She even provided hand-dried confetti and spare vases, allowing the Bride and Bridesmaids to keep their bouquets looking fresh and beautiful throughout the day.

A truly fabulous collaboration of beautiful souls, brought together to create the most incredible floral display, and memories to last a lifetime. 🌿🌸

💚🗯️THE ART OF A GOOD WEDDING SPEECH 🗯️💚

M&J’s Wedding in May 2026….the photos speak for themselves. So we hear you asking “What makes a good Wedding speech?”

1/ Make them feel something: The best speeches go though all the emotions - a happy tear, a full heart, and of course, that little lump in your throat
2/ Make them laugh: A funny story, a bit of self-deprecation or a perfectly timed joke to get the whole room laughing together
3/ Tell them something they didn’t know: Share those little facts, stories and memories that give everyone a glimpse into the couple and make their story feel uniquely theirs.
4/ Talk to the room: Involve the guests and make everyone feel like they’re part of the story. Those little moments of interaction can make a speech really memorable.
5/ Make it real: Don’t worry about sounding perfect. The best speeches are the ones that feel genuine, heartfelt and completely you.

🥂 A NO CORKAGE VENUE 🥂

Music to the ears of our couples 😊 and so refreshing… forgive the pun! 😉

So, how does corkage work at The Oak Barn? Well, it doesn’t!

Here’s how it works:

🍾 You buy the drinks. Supply all of them or just some....simply bring them along.
Job done!

🥂 Our recommended caterers do the rest. Chilling, serving, glassware, staff and clear-up are all taken care of.

🏡 Whatever’s left is yours to take home and enjoy another day!

♻️ And there’s an added bonus. In keeping with our eco-friendly approach, we’ll happily recycle all your empty bottles for you.

A little more freedom, a little less wedding-day worry... and no corkage charge. Win-win! 🥂

🧸 YOUR LITTLE GUESTS 🧸

A little planning goes a long way. When the little ones are happy and entertained, their parents can relax too...meaning everyone gets to enjoy the celebration! 🤍

A few things we’ve learnt along the way:

🧸 Create a little space for them with colouring books, puzzles, toys and games. And for those sunny summer days, keep a couple of bottles of suncream handy!

🍕 Keep the food simple. Pizza, chicken goujons and pasta are always a hit. Today is not the day to re-educate their palate!

🎨 Keep them entertained. A children’s entertainer, magician or shared babysitter can keep little guests happy for hours.

🛏️ Make naps easy. With our Weaver’s Cottages just across the courtyard, tired little ones can be whisked off for a rest without their parents missing out on the celebrations.

💃 And let them dance! Some of the best wedding memories are made when the little ones take over the dance floor. Just make sure someone films it; future wedding speeches may thank you! 😉

How could we ever forget that exceptional August Bank Holiday weekend in 2025? What a day!

The farm was flooded with vibrant orange and red flowers, beautifully paired with the timeless olive-green bridesmaids’ dresses. 🌿🌺

But more than anything, it was everything a wedding should be: joy, fun, freedom, love and happiness.

Thank you to our gorgeous couple, E&A, for choosing The Oak Barn, Frame Farm to celebrate your love in style.
