with no one to bark at the strange people walking by our house (me, my friends and shadows) i think it’s fair to say maybe i’ll be able to walk in the door at 2am without waking my parents up. you were a bundle of light shoved into a tiny dog’s body and absolutely EVERYONE who came across you, loved you. there’s not a single word that could sum up the amount of things this dog was but what she wasn’t, was a dog. she was a therapist, a friend, a family member and probably a cat trapped in this world as a dog lmfao. i’ve never had so much love for anything and i don’t know what i’m gonna do without you around. no one will be here to lick me when i’m not asking for it and basically re-bathe me after i shower, no one will be here to warn me that the mailman is about to bust down the door to deliver our mail, and most importantly- no one will be here to bark at all my friends even though they met them 20+ times. you aren’t just my dog, but you’re everyone’s dog who needed one when they had lost their own, or when they just needed someone to pet and play with. you brought so much light into this world with you and it’ll seem just a bit more dim without you. i know this is a lot for what seems to be just a dog but she was my favorite thing in the world and i wouldn’t want anyone to assume otherwise. i love you always, caley. 💚 by @theoatrics_
