Holy cow! It’s @lavache.sg! 😉 This spanking new Parisian-style steakhouse on Gemmill is all about that steak-frites magic. Crisp salad + juicy usda double gold ribeye cooked to perfection + unlimited golden fries!!! Vibes? French bistro meets playful energy. Wine list? Tight but right. Desserts? Profiteroles, lemon meringue tarts, everything bad for me but ohsogood. Weight on the wallet for someone saving up for renovations on a recently acquired 5-room resale unit? A scoop shop that churns daily. A brand that started in Sydney in 2002. A flavour lineup that includes 40 options and somehow still makes space for flavours that taste like home (if you live here in Singapore that is) Singapore, How You Durian? hits like your eccentric uncle who wears batik to brunch: loud and surprisingly charming. Also tried the Kaya Toast (yes dehydrated toast is a thing) So unless you've been living under a rock or you're a social pariah, you'd know @gelatomessina.sg is now on Club Street and it’s not playing. Every element is made from scratch, their gelato bases, their dulce de leche, their gelato CAKES. They milk their own cows (cuz happy cows = creamy gelato). Grow their own mint. Harvest their own honey. It’s ocd in the best way just like me and it shows in every rich, creamy, unapologetically generous scoop. Shot this while deciding if triple scoops at $12 is a flex or a necessity (spoiler: it’s both tyvm) by @theodore.woon
