Let’s be real…

Too many families are getting pushed out.

Our southeast neighborhoods deserves the same energy, focus, and investment as the rest of San Francisco!

I’m running for Supervisor because we can do better.

We kicked off this campaign on sacred ground in Sundial Park, right in front of Gloria R. Davis Middle School.

In the heart of the same neighborhood that made me.
I didn’t come into this work from the outside—I was raised in it.

And I believe with everything in me, we can do better!
That’s why I’m raising my family in this same neighborhood.

This campaign is about making sure San Francisco is a place where families can afford to stay, feel safe, and truly thrive—for generations.

The Baylands (Schlage Lock) Project represents one of the most significant investments in Visitacion Valley in generations.

The project will deliver 1,679 new homes, neighborhood-serving retail, new parks and open space, restored historic buildings, safer pedestrian and bicycle connections, and a modernized Bayshore Caltrain Station.

We’re watching this project closely to ensure longtime residents benefit from the investment through affordable housing, local hiring, support for small businesses, and infrastructure that keeps pace with growth.

Ten years ago, we cut the ribbon on a newly renovated Ruth Williams Bayview Opera House. Today, it stands as the premier arts and culture center on the southeast side of San Francisco—a place where artists, culture bearers, and community come together to create, celebrate, and re-imagine what’s next.

Thank you to NorCal Public Media for helping share the story of our neighborhood and the Ruth Williams Bayview Opera House as part of America’s 250th Anniversary. Our history matters, our culture matters, and our future is still being written.
