During these difficult times in the Southwest our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the flooding. It is uplifting to see so many people from our community volunteering and making donations. If you are interested in making a donation please check out the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado.

The Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado has opened the La Plata Community Emergency Relief Fund (CERF) to assist residents and communities across La Plata County affected by this week’s flooding. Heavy rainfall has caused flooding and debris flows throughout the county, prompting evacuations, shelter-in-place orders, and the closure of county roads.

Online donations can be made through the Community Foundation’s website, swcommunityfoundation.org. by @theofficespiritorium
