Dear October,

I hope you know how badly I need you to be different.

Please be the month that finally answers the prayers I’ve carried quietly for so long. Let wishes find their way home, and let all this trying to stay strong finally be heard. I’ve spent enough time making peace with things I never wanted to lose. I’ve been patient with delays, with unanswered prayers, with life not going the way I imagined. I don’t want another lesson, another test, or another reason to be patient. I just want something to finally go right. Something to make me believe that maybe life is changing too.

So, October, please be gentle with me.

I’ve been strong for long enough.🤲🥹

Do not let the sufferings of this world separate you from God. Not by going where you know you shouldn’t, saying what you ought not to say, or doing the unthinkable. Stand firm. The pain is real, but it is not stronger than God's grip on you.

As St. Paul boldly declared today:
“I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Romans 8:18). He wrote those words from chains yet refused to let his trials define him.

This present darkness feels heavy, but it is temporary.
The glory ahead is eternal. Let that truth anchor your soul today. When temptation whispers “compromise,” remember: nothing can separate you from the love of Christ. Hold fast. Speak life. Choose obedience.
The suffering is not the end of your story, the glory is!

There will never not be another Alex Ekubo! The one who always lights up the room with his contagious smile! The most cheerful of them all. The one who loves and roots for everyone 😭💔 This is still too unreal because I would have never imagined that someone like Alex would go this soon but then life is so unpredictable and the hardest truth is that nobody is coming out of life alive and we don't even know when our individual journey would come to an end in this world.
So why we live this unpredictable life, let's not lose focus of what truly matters. Love God, love people, and build a legacy.

Man talked as if he knew, he was going so soon!

Alex was just that one person that lightens up the room! A sweetheart through and through. Kindest, goofiest nollywood actor! Why are the good and kind ones always going so fast like the wind?
I hoped by morning this news wouldn't be true. First was Junior Pope, now is Alex. God, this is too much!

I am just crashing out here. This guy was my favorite celebrity, I loved Alex, I rooted for him like I knew him personally. I fought online bullys who said trash about him! I hoped and wished he was taking off social media like he said, never saw this angle coming. I wonder why he didn't make this known even to his close friends and colleagues. I feel for his family and friends. If I can be feeling this way, only God knows what his aged parents, siblings, Ik Ogbonna, Yomi, Ay, Omoni Oboli , Onyi Alex, and co will be feeling.

An Easter baby, ooo! Do you know how special you have to be to be celebrating your birthday together with the risen Lord! Thank you, gracious father, for making it possible for me to witness another April 5th! I don't take it for granted 🥹🙏 🙌

I want to use today to take a break and reflect on my journey so far in this mystery called life. Just yesterday, i was a toddler, and today, I am a full-blown adult. I can't even believe how time came and has passed so quickly like this! God has so been gracious and faithful to me, so I return all glory to him. Birthdays for me are really not the days for partying but days of indepth reflection, a day where I think of where I was, where I am, and where I am headed. To family and friends, thank you for praying for, supporting, and loving this girl without reservation. Happy birthday to me. I pray that my heart desires align with God's will and plan for me.
Cheers to another year of becoming another year of growing, another year learning, another year of gratitude, another year of testimony, another year of unmerited favour, another year of unlimited blessings.

To the me, who is celebrating with the risen Lord, rejoice and be glad for your light has come! What an honour to celebrate with Christ!

I can't even believe how time came and has passed so quickly like this! God has so been gracious and faithful to me, so I return all glory to him. Birthdays for me are really not the days for partying or talking too much but days of indepth reflection, a day where I think of where I was, where I am, and where I am headed. To family and genuine friends, thank you for praying for, supporting, and loving this girl without reservation.
