A week ago today✨

Myself and some of my internet best friends (@theogsarena ), gathered in a room in LAGOS to discuss, connect, have important conversation around community building and of course, eat.

It’s always beautiful spending time with y’all.

See you on 25th, Ibadan.

Building an online platform isn’t just about followers, numbers or visibility. There’s a responsibility that comes with being listened to, and sometimes, that responsibility is a reminder that your own personal growth cannot be overlooked. by @theogsarena

On the 27th of September, I walked into a room full of brilliant creatives from different fields. I saw things from other people’s perspectives and left with what no one will personally tell you.
THE OGs UNPACK was worth it.
Thank you for having me @theogsarena

Fun fact: I travelled from Ibadan to Lagos that very day, but @joel_ooreofe thought I was already in Lagos 😂

At different points, especially during the fireside chat, I kept saying, “This was so worth it” because!!!!

I had expectations o, but they were MORE than met. 😭🔥

OG’s Unpack was actually really nice 🥹

The community, the conversations, seeing people I connected with at last month’s OG’s Hangout again… I really enjoyed that part.

And the fireside chat with @joel_ooreofe and @theglobalceci . It was really fire 🔥
I’ve never really seen community building talked about that raw and practically. It wasn’t just “build a community” talk, they actually got into the real stuff, the struggles of a community leader, gave answers to our questions, It was great.

Then the presentations 😂😂
Some OGs were VERY serious... Of course, and some clearly came to make us laugh.

Overall, it was a really good time.
Good people, good conversations, and plenty of moments to remember. 🤍 by @theogsarena

There are rooms, and then there are ROOMS!🥹🔥

The OGs Unpack was definitely more than just a hangout for me. It was a moment, an experience, a learning opportunity, and a reminder of the kind of circles and rooms I want to intentionally put myself in.

From the moment I walked into that room on Sunday, I knew there was a lot to learn. There was just something about being surrounded by different people, different experiences, different perspectives, and so many great minds.

And don’t even get me started on the fireside chat with Joel and CECÍ, @theglobalceci 🥹. It was such a loaded and impactful moment for me. There was so much knowledge shared, so many things to think about, and so many lessons I took with me, and I’m actually going to put into practice.

Even the presentations were such a fun part of the experience😂 Everyone had their own perspective, their own opinions, and their own way of interpreting the topics.

I got to meet and connect with some really amazing people, have meaningful conversations, and just be around people who are intentional about learning, growing and building. That alone was such a beautiful experience for me.

It made me realise even more that these are the kinds of rooms I want to find myself in.

Rooms where meaningful conversations happen. Because honestly, there is still so much to learn.

I loved every bit of it, and I’d genuinely love to experience it again and again❤️‍🔥

Thank you for inviting me, our OG Presido, aka couz😂❤️ @joel_ooreofe by @theogsarena

Some more JPEGs from our meetup on Sunday🤩,
There are rooms, and then there is THIS ROOM, OGs always coming in with the energy, creativity and atmosphere to have the most interesting and most important conversations around growth, creativity and building anything worthwhile.

Guess where THE OGs UNPACK is happening next?🤩
