Since I just got the notification that @creative.believers announced their monthly open mic in 3 days, what better time than now to post the only recorded performance I have from a past event. I had just got off of work, didn’t properly warm up, and almost performed in slides. Nevertheless, I still did what I had to do. Allah willing, I’ll do the same thing this Saturday.

A very hazy pic from my second time performing at @getyourklickon. It was the FIRST time my mom @tina1975marie finally got to see me perform EVER! Great night all around. I hope the next open mic isn’t too far away. The stage calls, and I’m ready to answer. taken in North Camden by @theonecalledrj

About Last Saturday… it was epic! My cousin came to see me perform and so did the members of my temple (they even performed!) shout out to her for grabbing this clip of my final performance of the night that I dedicated to all the mothers on Mother’s Day Eve. Thank you @getyourklickon for having me for the 3rd time at another dope open mic at the your studio. I love getting the opportunity to perform in my city. Can’t wait for the next one: it’s only gonna get better and better.

#throwback to that time I performed on a rooftop for the very first time in Philly for my guy @alextwilightcrew ‘s birthday. It sure was chilly that night (hence why my collar was up) but we made it warm with everyone’s presence and talent. Shoutout to all the creatives that graced the stage and the rooftop. I hope to see you all soon at the next one! Please tag yall selves because I can’t remember everyone’s @ name at this moment.😅😉

Who would’ve thought I could look somewhat decent while performing? I must be gettting better at performing or that guy @alextwilightcrew knows how to catch the good angles. Just reminiscing and sharing some memories from my first performance at @ladder15. Thanks again Alex for inviting me and snapping the kid. I’ll always be thankful and appreciative of anyone that can take photos/videos of me performing since I usually have to play the music off my phone #artistproblems

It’s official… IM A TRUCK DRIVER!!! Toot Toot! I want thank the great instructors at Smith & Solomon, I couldn’t have done it without them. Shout out to everyone who believed in me and my endeavors. This is a big step to what I’m ultimately trying to achieve in life and I couldn’t be more excited. It was a long journey, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Imma be gone for quite a while so, get y’all hugs, kisses, phone calls and such in while you can. 🚚 🚛💨 by @theonecalledrj
