I’m a nurse🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹!!! This moment is everything I dreamed of since I was a little girl. To my younger self, this one is for you.

The path to becoming a nurse has been full of unexpected obstacles. I was told to pursue a different career, failed my first semester and had to repeat it. SO THIS ONE HIT DIFFERENT! Watching my classmates move ahead while I had to take a step back was one of the toughest experiences I’ve faced. I really came out a beast, what can’t i do?

Getting up a 5am for clinical, driving an hour + for clinical sites, hours long full of lectures, lab, exams, studying late nights, and the list goes on. Theres not enough words to describe this experience.

There were moments I questioned if this was truly meant for me. But deep inside, I always knew that nursing was my calling. Helping others has always been my passion, and if you know me, you know my heart.

During my journey to becoming a nurse, I lost my grandma, and while it was a difficult challenge, it also fueled my determination to keep going. Her final words to me were, “Kaya, just come back as a nurse ,” and I know how proud she would be of me now. So, this one is for you too.

To my family and friends who have been there for me every step of the way, I love you. I appreciate you for allowing me to cry, vent, and express my frustrations about nursing school. Thank you for your prayers, love, and constant encouragement.

Finally, and most importantly, thank you, GOD. You’ve guided me through every challenge, every late night, and every moment of doubt. Your strength and grace carried me through nursing school. Thank you for this blessing! Phil. 4:13
