The Perfect Anakin!?
I’ve had the official @lego Anakin in this spot for a while, but this version felt like the upgrade my display needed.

The more detailed Jedi robes, updated look, and molded lightsaber make this feel much closer to the Anakin I wanted represented in the collection.

Upgrading my 41st Elite Corps!
Sometimes the collection doesn’t need more. It just needs a different figure.

Pulled this little group off the shelf for an upgrade, and yeah… this looks way better.

One of my favorite parts of collecting LEGO Star Wars is constantly tweaking the display. Moving figures around, building little scenes, swapping pieces, and somehow convincing myself that this time the shelf is finally finished.

It never is.

Perfecting the LEGO Shock Trooper
Sometimes the official minifigure is just the starting point. I wonder if @mandrproductions would approve of this rendition?

I’ve always liked LEGO’s Shock Troopers, but there were a few details I wanted to push a little further. So I started mixing official LEGO parts with custom elements to build what, to me, feels like the perfect LEGO Shock Trooper.

Darth Revan by @avfigures
…is by far one of my favorite characters from Star Wars Legends, if you don’t know the lore of Revan, you need to play Knights of the Old Republic video game!

Revan is the character I probably have the most custom figures of and I’ll be showcasing each as well as the original @lego figure that came out as a Polybag GWP on my page in the coming weeks but until then check out this custom fig from AV by @danger_greg & @bradysbricks

I’m typically not a complete 360° PAD Printing kind of guy when it comes to customs but I just had to get it for Revan. PAD printed on official LEGO parts with a custom headpiece and 3D printed saber hilts, I’m incredibly happy with this purchase! I also pickup Malgus and Lord Starkiller which will eventually land in my collection when they release!

Nute Gunray by @avfigures x @cobaltcustombricks
…is one of those characters who really represents the political side of Episode I. As Viceroy of the Trade Federation, he becomes a key player in the blockade and invasion of Naboo, all while being manipulated by Darth Sidious behind the scenes. Gunray is a nervous, greedy, self-serving, and is constantly trying to protect his own position, which makes him a very different kind of villain.
His ornate robes and distinctive Neimoidian design also make him instantly recognizable, especially among the early prequel characters. This Episode I Nute Gunray figure is a great reminder that Star Wars is not just Jedi, Sith, and battleships. Sometimes the people making terrible political decisions in a conference room can shape the galaxy just as much as anyone with a lightsaber.

This figure is a great upgrade to the typical @lego figs! @avfigures & @cobaltcustombricks did an excellent job all around!

Sidon Ithano by @firestartoys
…better known as the Crimson Corsair, is one of those characters who proves you don’t need a lot of screen time to leave an impression. First introduced in The Force Awakens, the mysterious Delphidian pirate quickly stood out with his crimson armor, weathered flight suit, and unmistakable red mask. @firestartoys did an incredible job with the custom helmet, cape and weapon, making this one of my favorite figs!

I appreciate that Star Wars didn’t try to explain everything about him right away. Instead, they used the novels and comics to gradually expanded his story, revealing him as the captain of the Meson Martinet and one of the galaxy’s most respected treasure hunters and explorers.

Sidon Ithano is a cool example of how a striking design, a little mystery, and a great backstory can turn a background character into a fan-favorite collectible, making him one of my favorite figures from the sequel era.

Kix | The Last Standing Brother by @thebrickway
I need to start off by saying I am not a fan of the sequel trilogy as a whole but I do appreciate a few things about them…Kix’s character arc is one of those things…

Kix has one of the most epic stories of any clone trooper. As the 501st Legion’s combat medic, he was the first clone to uncover the truth behind the inhibitor chips after investigating the death of Tup. Before he could warn Captain Rex or the rest of the Jedi, Count Dooku had him captured and placed in stasis, where he remained frozen for decades.

By the time he was discovered, the Clone Wars, the Empire, and nearly all of his brothers were gone. I appreciate that Star Wars gave Kix this unexpected ending. Instead of dying alongside the rest of the clones, he became the last surviving clone trooper and eventually found a new purpose running with the pirate crew led by Sidon Ithano (see my previous post).

It’s a solid story that makes Kix one of the most unique and tragic clones in Star Wars, and that’s the big reason he’s become one of my favorite clone minifigures to collect.

Big “Thank You” to @thebrickway for producing and introducing me to this character and a HUGE “thank you” to @starkillerbricks for helping me acquire this figure, my only regret is not being able to secure any alt colors for him…but overall love this figure. I’ve also included a preview of my next post, featuring Clone Medic Kix by @grandpaclonecustoms at the end 🙌🏼

Ahsoka Tano | Star Wars Rebels by @lightcustom_wz
Her time in Star Wars Rebels is probably one of the best versions of the character because you can tell how different her character is since The Clone Wars.

Now operating as Fulcrum, she is older, calmer, and far more measured, quietly helping build the growing rebellion against the Empire while keeping much of her past hidden.
She still carries the heart of a Jedi without actually calling herself one, and her white lightsabers perfectly represent how she has chosen her own path outside both the Jedi and the Sith.
Her reunion with Anakin, now Darth Vader, is the best part of the series, especially when she finally realizes what happened to him. @nanorex_designs & @lightcustom_wz capture this design perfectly in @lego form, one of the best figs I own!

Clones will always be one of my top favorite Star Wars figs, thankful for the GCC Team who is always providing some of the cleanest true to @lego custom clones! Their PAD printing on official LEGO parts is superb 🙌🏼

I have so many more that I will be showcasing throughout the rest of the year, I upgraded this one’s custom cloth pauldron to a printed mag pauldron by @printech_workshop along with a custom blaster from @brickarms
