Some moments just remind you that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

I came across this video of my dad Melvin Carter serving as Musical Director for @mchammer on The @arseniohall Show, and it instantly took me back. I remember sitting in front of the TV watching this as a little girl, and I remember being at rehearsals as they prepared for tour. Those memories planted seeds in me long before I even realized it.

Now here I am… on tour myself.

It’s humbling to see how the legacy my father carried through music continues to echo in my own life. Being a vocalist, artist, performer, and creative isn’t just something I do..it’s woven into my story. Looking back, I can see that every step has been aligning me with my purpose and destiny.

I’m so grateful to the Most High for allowing me to walk in what was placed inside of me from the very beginning. Legacy isn’t just inherited…it’s honored by continuing the work with excellence, humility, and love.

Here’s to the journey, the generations, and the beautiful reminder that what is meant for you will always find you. 💙✨

Thank you for such an unforgettable night! The love, the energy, the worship, and seeing so many of you travel from near and far truly filled @travismalloy @urbanworshipcollective hearts. Every city has its own vibe, and PHILLY showed up in such a beautiful way.

A very special shoutout to one of my Blue Angels 💙🪽 Shantae for surprising me and coming to the show. Meeting you in person for the very first time was such a special moment that I’ll never forget. My heart is still so full.
