Not every movement limitation is a mobility problem.
And not every movement that looks different needs to be corrected.

Before prescribing another mobility drill, let’s figure out what’s actually limiting your movement.

Did you hear?!

A warm-up that made overhead squats feel better than they have in YEARS? We’ll take that kind of feedback all day. 🔥

Your warm-up should do more than check a box. The right movements can help you feel more prepared for the work ahead.

Stop settling for “just deal with it” and start figuring out what YOUR body needs. by @theoptimalchiro

Ever been told your hip is “out” or your spine is “out of alignment”?

Here’s the thing: your joints are built to move, not slide out of place because you slept funny or sat too long.

You’ve probably heard some providers (yep, chiros AND PTs) say an adjustment “put things back in place.” It’s a nice story. It’s just not what’s happening. That pop is gas releasing in the joint, not a bone clicking back into position. What a good manual treatment can do is calm things down and help you move more freely for a window of time.

And that window is the opportunity.

When something feels stuck, it’s usually a motion problem, not a placement problem. So we restore the motion, then use it. Load it, strengthen it, build capacity so it stays that way.

Your body isn’t fragile. It doesn’t need to be fixed. It needs to move. by @theoptimalchiro

You walk in hurting. Frustrated. Maybe you’ve already been told to “just rest” or been handed a sheet of generic exercises.

Here’s what actually happens at RCVR 👇

1️⃣ We start with YOU. Your goals, your training, your life, and what matters most to you.
2️⃣ We test, not guess. Pain tells us where it hurts. It doesn’t always tell us why. So we look at the strength and mobility of everything around it.
3️⃣ Then we get hands-on. Dry needling, manipulation, cupping, and skilled manual therapy, chosen for what YOUR body needs.
4️⃣ You move. More than you have in a while, and better.
5️⃣ You leave with a plan and real hope. Not a quick fix. Progress that lasts. by @theoptimalchiro

Your FSA dollars have an expiration date. Your nagging shoulder doesn’t seem to. 👀

Most FSA plans are use-it-or-lose-it by December 31. That’s money you already set aside for your health, so don’t hand it back to your employer.

HSA funds don’t expire, but they’re there to be used. Using them on care that actually gets you back to training is a pretty good investment. by @theoptimalchiro

You don’t need a competition on the calendar to be our kind of patient.

Yes, we love our athletes. We ARE athletes. But the barbell crowd is only part of who walks through our doors.

Just last week we saw:

🤰 A mom getting her body ready for birth

🔨 A guy whose job is harder on his body than most workouts

🦵 A woman fresh off knee surgery

🏠 A weekend warrior who lost a fight with a home project

Different people, same approach. One-on-one for the full session. A plan built around YOUR life. And a provider who actually cares what you’re trying to get back to, whether that’s a podium, a job site, or picking up your kid without thinking twice.

And no, being out-of-network doesn’t mean we can’t see you post-op. We do it all the time, and we love being there from day one to better than before.

If you have a body and something you want it to do, you belong here. by @theoptimalchiro

The scariest thing about healthcare isn’t the diagnosis. It’s being told “that’s just how it is now” by someone who never asked what you actually want to get back to. 👻

None of this is normal. It’s just common.

Not every shoulder gets the same needle.

Dry needling isn’t paint-by-numbers. If the placement would look the same on you as it would on the next five people, that’s a template, not a treatment.

Here’s our standard:

📍 SPECIFIC
Two people can walk in with “shoulder pain” and need completely different placement. Your exam decides where the needle goes.

🎯 INTENTIONAL
We know what we’re looking for before the needle goes in. What you’re feeling, how the muscle reacts, and what we’re trying to change all drive the next move.

🧠 WELL INFORMED
About you: your goals, your history, and any nerves you have about needles. (Totally normal. Tell us.)
And about the craft: we keep taking courses and sharpening our technique, because “I learned this once” isn’t good enough.

Needling is one tool, not the whole plan. The point is getting you moving and feeling better.

$Hello, that’s us. Ever wonder who the first call should be when you have pain? Specifically back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, etc? Unless you were in a traumatic accident or we are concerned about fractures, infection, or other red-flag symptoms, you should be seeing your rehab provider. That back pain after moving furniture all weekend or shoulder pain after a competition likely isn’t reason for imaging. You might just save a lot of time and headache seeing us first. by @theoptimalchiro$

Runner, if you’re nursing an injury right now, read this before you make it worse.

Most runners default to the same three mistakes when something starts hurting:

They stop running completely (hello, deconditioning and a slower comeback).

They eat less because they feel guilty about moving less (wrong move…your tissue needs fuel to actually repair itself).

And they skip strength training because running is “their thing” (meanwhile your hips and glutes are begging for some load).

None of these speed up your healing. All of them slow it down.

Recovery isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing the RIGHT things: managed volume, proper fueling, and strength work that keeps your whole system healthy so you come back stronger than you left.

You don’t need more rest. You need a plan.
