Plenty of ACL injuries happen late in a game, when you’re tired, your legs are cooked, and you’re still cutting, landing, and reacting. So why would we only test and train your knee when it’s well rested?

Here’s what we’re doing post-ACL reconstruction:
🔥 Fatigue the quads first
🏀 Then go straight into basketball-specific work: cuts, decels, landings, reactive drills

The goal isn’t to beat her up. The goal is to find out what her knee can do under real game conditions and build it there, so she shows up to the court ready and not just hoping.

Return to sport is more than a date on the calendar or a clean MRI. It’s a strong knee that holds up when it matters most.

Not every movement limitation is a mobility problem.
And not every movement that looks different needs to be corrected.

Before prescribing another mobility drill, let’s figure out what’s actually limiting your movement.

A little soreness after a tough workout? Normal. But more soreness doesn’t mean a better workout or more gains.

DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) typically peaks 24–72 hours after unfamiliar or intense exercise. The goal isn’t to be wrecked after every session, it’s to train consistently, recover well, and build capacity over time.

A few reminders:
Warm up and prepare for the work ahead.
Progress your training load and volume gradually.
Prioritize sleep, nutrition, and recovery.
Don’t write off sharp, persistent, or worsening pain as “just soreness.”

You don’t have to be super sore to make progress. You have to be consistent. by @rcvr.performance

Did you hear?!

A warm-up that made overhead squats feel better than they have in YEARS? We’ll take that kind of feedback all day. 🔥

Your warm-up should do more than check a box. The right movements can help you feel more prepared for the work ahead.

Stop settling for “just deal with it” and start figuring out what YOUR body needs. by @rcvr.performance

Ever been told your hip is “out” or your spine is “out of alignment”?

Here’s the thing: your joints are built to move, not slide out of place because you slept funny or sat too long.

You’ve probably heard some providers (yep, chiros AND PTs) say an adjustment “put things back in place.” It’s a nice story. It’s just not what’s happening. That pop is gas releasing in the joint, not a bone clicking back into position. What a good manual treatment can do is calm things down and help you move more freely for a window of time.

And that window is the opportunity.

When something feels stuck, it’s usually a motion problem, not a placement problem. So we restore the motion, then use it. Load it, strengthen it, build capacity so it stays that way.

Your body isn’t fragile. It doesn’t need to be fixed. It needs to move. by @rcvr.performance

You walk in hurting. Frustrated. Maybe you’ve already been told to “just rest” or been handed a sheet of generic exercises.

Here’s what actually happens at RCVR 👇

1️⃣ We start with YOU. Your goals, your training, your life, and what matters most to you.
2️⃣ We test, not guess. Pain tells us where it hurts. It doesn’t always tell us why. So we look at the strength and mobility of everything around it.
3️⃣ Then we get hands-on. Dry needling, manipulation, cupping, and skilled manual therapy, chosen for what YOUR body needs.
4️⃣ You move. More than you have in a while, and better.
5️⃣ You leave with a plan and real hope. Not a quick fix. Progress that lasts. by @rcvr.performance

Now it’s your turn.

Wear your RCVR gear, post your workout, and tag us. We don’t care if it’s a PR, a pump session, or a 6am “I showed up” sweat. We want to see you train. by @rcvr.performance

Most people think pelvic floor PT = kegels for postpartum moms.

Wrong. It’s for anyone with a pelvis and a goal.

Leaking when you jump, lift, or sneeze? Common. Not normal. Not something you just “live with.”
Pain with sex? Not something to push through.
Low back or hip pain that keeps coming back no matter how much you stretch? The pelvic floor might be the missing piece.
Pregnant and want to feel strong through delivery and back in the gym after? That’s a plan, not a hope.

Your pelvic floor is muscle. Muscle can be trained. And training it is a lot more than squeezing and holding.

At RCVR, you get a full hour 1:1 with a doctor of physical therapy who also lifts, trains, and gets it. We find the root cause, build a plan around YOUR goals, and get you back to doing what you love without the workarounds.

You don’t need permission to want more from your body. by @rcvr.performance
