So this might be one of my favorite reads of the year 🥹😭 it sucked me in on page one and made me fall madly in love with not only the main characters but also the secondary characters 🥹

TW: this book discusses and depicts a wide range of Anxiety and Depression including suicide. Please reach out and talk to someone if you’re struggling with your mental health💛

This book and these characters wove their way into my heart so incredibly fast. Please Don’t Go was the best kind of slow burn. Even though I had absolutely no idea this book was as hefty as it is when I dove in i genuinely didn’t feel the need to speed read to get to the “good part” because IT WAS ALL THE GOOD PART.

It felt so real and just human ya know? Like Josie and Danny have SO much emotion and a trauma to work through that when they come together they start to heal pieces of each other without even realizing it. But sometimes not even love is enough to fix those kinds of wounds.

I think E. Salvador did an incredible job representing anxiety and depression and the importance of therapy and mental health.

Daniel is just a constant support for Josie and I absolutely ate the sh*t up! Even when she was convinced she didn’t need him around, He just kept showing up. And I think everyone needs people like that. It killed me when it got to the point where I realized that even I as the reader had ignored all the the warning signs that Daniel was also struggling though. I was just SO excited for their “happily ever after” moment. 😭 like I saw it unfolding and still just wanted LOVE to be enough 😭😢

I felt a connection to Josie almost instantly. Not because I’d ever attempted what she had but because I could relate to the feeling of being so numb and just not caring enough to want to keep going. It’s an overwhelming feeling. But for me that’s when I started reading again. And books gave me a safe place to land and start to let those emotions back in❤️

Anyway I REALLY loved this book and highly recommend!

His Empress ARC ✨

I adore this series and these characters 😭

This might be my favorite Empire of Royals yet!! And that’s saying a lot because I ADORE Juliet and Romeo’s book! So don’t ask me to firmly choose!
Also I think Ive finally (😝 sue me) forgiven Matteo because his soft side really worked it’s way into my heart in this book. He loves all his girls fiercely 😩

Okay back to Sienna and Dimitri! This book was soo good!! It was definitely a rollercoaster ride 😝 We go from the sweet sultry heat of their one weekend affair to the icy chill at the start of their “arrangement” a few months later 😭

Emilia has this knack for writing these mafia/bratva men who are SO easy to hate and SO hard to forgive 🤣🤣 Probably because she also writes these AMAZING female characters who are strong badasses in their own right but still all I want to do is keep them protected and junk punch anyone who hurts them. Which is typically their idiot bratva/mafia love interest 🤣

I knew there was more to Dimitri’s trauma but even still there were more than a few times when I truly HATED that man🙈
Don’t worry though the groveling was TOP TIER 🔥🔥 It was the notes and veggies that won me back 🥹🥹

The Vovk and all the other secondary characters in the book absolutely stole my heart!! I am not ready to say goodbye to them😩

I NEED A NOVELLA FOR M**** AND A***** 😩😩

A Pack for Summer ARC ✨

The last installment of the Cozyverse series 🥹

After disaster strikes Summer’s freshly opened bakery she find herself living under the same roof with her childhood friend, Jae and his pack brothers, Mercer and Lucien. Not only will she be sharing a house and a bathroom with them but she also will have to share a work space in Mercers kitchen while her bakery is closed. Will she be able to resist her desires?? 🌚

This was a cute and cozy finish to the Cozyverse Series! There was one part (can’t tell you bc spoilers😉) where the found family trope quite literally melted my heart 😭

For four books now the Omegas of Starlight Grove have all found and fallen for their packs with the help of the town mayor, a cat named Felix. One has to wonder what he’s gonna do now but there’s nobody to match make😜 by @theoretically_trisha

Across the Vanishing Sky Book Tour✨

When you get to meet your comfort author and she’s the human embodiment of a warm hug💖 I got up to the table and was just nervously word vomiting because the I was worried the bracelet I made her was too small and she was just SO kind and genuinely caring 🥹

We learned a few things during last night’s discussions…
• As an author Catherine has her life SO together 😅
•Kat is a fly by the seat of her pants/vibes girlie and I relate SO HARD 😝
• Kat and Catherine need to do a writing retreat together where Kat writes a whychoose and Catherine writes small town mafia 🔥 by @theoretically_trisha

Jackson and Delilah…I didn’t think they’d top my love for Aiden and Lucy but they did it🥹

Jackson sweet grumpy boy that he is, loves his schedules and things in a very particular order and Delilah is an absolute wrecking ball to all of his routines.

When Jackson radio station and Delilah’s tv station decides to pair the duo together for a blizzard of a life time I don’t think anyone knew just how life altering it would be.
I was sad that I riches through reading this because I absolutely did not want their story to end! The became each others safe space in a way that is just so sweet it hurts your chest a little bit 🥹❄️ I love how Delilah could seemlessly ease Jacksons anxieties while Jackson never failed to remind Delilah to demand more for herself and not let anyone dim her light 💖🥹 by @theoretically_trisha

And Now Back to You- the book tour✨

What a night!! I don’t think I’ve laughed that much or that hard in such a long time🤣 @authorbkborison and @elyse_myers had such a fun and chaotic (in the absolute BEST way) panel!

It was like getting to be a fly on the wall while two friends catch up and have drinks and talk about their books… but in a super chill, not creepy at all way😝 watching in real time as Elyse put together that this book was loosely based on When Harry Met sally was both a joy to watch and INCREDIBLY relatable.

Social events tend to stress me out because I’m pretty awkward but it was so much fun to interact and meet fellow book lovers( and a few Heated a rivalry fans too🔥)

This was the second BK event I’ve been able to attend. And no matter how chaotic her week had been her travels were she still managed to be the kind st and during the meet and greets. 💖

I 100% mumbled my way through last nights meet and greet because I was embarrassed about the Heated Rivalry book mark fumble😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Now I get to go delisted to the book because I’m sad I finished it so quilt and work on a moodboard for it ✨ by @theoretically_trisha

A Pack for Spring✨🌸🪡

I was so excited to get an ARC for this one! Especially now that cozyverse has gone TRAD💖

Right off the bat I knew I was going to relate with our girl Lucy. And boy did I!

Lucy is an omega who just turned 29! And although she runs a success sewing shop and creates her own custom clothes she feels the pressures of life and her final year in her twenties weighing down on her. She longs to be loved and cherished but has been burned in the past so she struggles to see her true worth beneath all negativity thrown her way.

But Starlight Grove, Mayor Felix the cat more specifically, wasn’t about to let Lucy believe those negative things for too long. Because the fate brings her two possessive alphas and an adoring beta to build a pack with.

Leo- the head over heels beta who has loved Lucy from he opened his flower shop next door. But he held himself back because he was worried his disability made him unworthy of her.

King- big shot CEO who had no intentions of staying around Starlight Grove until he falls HARD for Lucy and maybe even the cute florist too😉

Wilder- surly fire chief who prefers to stay secluded in his mountain home but can’t resist Lucy after he rescues her from a dangerous situation. Only pull away because he himself might put her at risk.

Game Changer🏒🫐

Scott and Kip!

Between the state of the world and my TLG book slump this one took me longer to lock into than i anticipated. But that was a ME issue and not the books fault 🤪

Scott and Kips love story was so sweet! I liked how even though Scott was this famous hockey star he was still super awkward and shy when he met Kip😝 it was so endearing. And I loved that Kip was able to help Scott find his way out of the closet even if that process was scary and a bit bumpy for both of them 🥹

Also KIPS DAD IS A GEM AND MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS 😩😩 by @theoretically_trisha

Bluebird Gold

Started 2026 in 1983!
I’m not gonna lie…It took me a hot minute to get into this one simply because I’m a HOE for romance and it took a minute to get to the romance part of the plot, and that’s okay. I still enjoyed this read! Solid 4⭐️ read!

I loved going back to the 80s even though I was born after the 80s, but you know what I mean, the vibes were fun!!😝

The man that Cosi Raynes is 😮‍💨 kind, loving, supportive father to his teenage son, and protective, caring sheriff to the new girl who moved in town… yes PLEASE. 😏 picture young Tom Selleck crossed a modern day Can Yaman (look him up and thank me later)…and THATS Cosi!

Isla gets to Montana and literally nothing goes right for her. Her dad is dead and left a maze for her to pack up. Her new coworkers suck, her boss is a d*ck, and she’s got someone creeping around her house. She is living up in the mountains and is alone. And then finally when it gets to be too much Cosi swoops in and lets (that man was not letting her stay anywhere else 🔥) her crash at his place with him and his son. And his son,Spencer, is this broody 14-year-old who really is the sweetest kid ever and I LOVE the bond that he formed with Isla through throughout this book😩 I definitely was NOT ready for this book to end!

Anyway, this book gave me all of my favorite things, small town, a little bit of murder/mystery, protective MMC who is still fully aware that his FMC doesn’t take any shit. 💁🏼‍♀️ by @theoretically_trisha

The Long Game 🏒

Between the holidays and just wanting to sit with these boys it’s taken me a minute to post about this book🤪

Obviously I loved it. It hurt my chest so much more than I expected but I LOVED IT. Plus by the end of the book that ache in my chest was healed. 😉

Shane and Ilya were kinda stuck in limbo between being happy and in love with each other while simultaneously still having to hide that love from almost everyone. I was ready to THROW HANDS at some of the a**hole characters!
Things got tense, feelings got heated…it was stressful.
I was stressed.🤪
But beneath all of that I never once doubted how much these two characters LOVED one another… and the community of people who love them🥹😩 it kills me how deeply their love runs. I just wish they had an easier time communicating those feelings lol. I really loved (while in pain) how @rachelreidwrites handled the mental health rep and therapy sessions in this book. So many times as a reader I feel like when a character is going through something similar to what Ilya was dealing with it’s not really handled in a way that feels healthy like typically it’s just whisked away magically by romance. That’s not why Rachel did. And I think it was really beautiful.
I do wish we could have seen some couples therapy sessions for Shane and Ilya. That would be really good for those babies 🥹

I could go on and on and on about how much I love these two but if I keep talking, I’m going to spoil the book so feel free to DM me🤪

I’m excited to go back to the rest of the series . I’m really really really looking forward to Kip and Scott’s book!
