Yesterday we returned to @herbalnailspa.cary for a much needed Post-Workout Recovery pedicure.

I treated my friend, as a thank you for his help with my big move. We are both very active in and out of the gym, but that’s why it’s all the more important for recovery.

This treatment is specifically designed to soothe active legs.

shocked.

is an understatement. the most amazing feeling is to arrive feeling you don’t know everyone in the room, but that you’re showing up fully to a place that receives you with open arms for exactly as you are. and all of you. whole.
 that is how I felt arriving to this secret party, like fairies in the woods at @figmintfarms_nc . 🧚

@wedsociety.raleigh surprised a lucky few of us. we were given simple instructions: wear white & meet in the parking lot of a grocery store for an evening of dinner & drinks.

what we were given was so much richer: an intentional evening kissed by the sound of a violin. greeted with welcome spritz & getting to dawn ourself in jewelry made of florals, like the goddesses we are.

If Nancy Meyers hosted a farmer’s market, I imagine it would look something like this.

On the final weekend of spring, Lizzy transformed her dining room into a charming indoor market complete with café lights, a green gingham awning, handmade goods, and thirteen talented women-made products.

Fresh butter, herbal tinctures, artwork, friendship bracelets, custom magnets, and thoughtfully crafted goods lined the room while guests created custom market totes, shared charcuterie, enjoyed dinner, and spent the evening connecting with this beautiful group of women.

As spring turns to summer, we’re feeling grateful for the creativity, generosity, and community that filled every corner of the house. Here’s to gathering often, supporting each other, and creating a little more magic right where we are. ✨ taken in Sanford, North Carolina by @theorganiccreative

one thing you must do before leaving Charleston:

today I took the road out of town and adventured to a place I’d only dreamt about going: Cypress Gardens.

You know the scene where Allie & Noah take a row boat out to this magical place filled with swans? 🦢

It really exists (sans swans) and it’s even more magical in person. The color of green encapsulated me under a canopy of cypress trees, surrounded by lily pads and in a haven of flowers and other fauna. 🐢 🐊

It’s only $10 to get into the whole park which also included a butterfly garden 🦋 & exotic bird sanctuary.

Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the Charleston area in 2026!

stumbled into a secret coffee oasis in Wilmington and I’m never getting over it 🤠

hidden grounds has it all: cowboys, dinos, iced coffee drinks that actually slap, and a pick-up window that makes you feel like you’re in on something special.

I got the leggo my eggo coffee, which was perfectly topped with waffle cereal. 🧇

the staff was dancing, the trees were swaying, and the whole place felt like summer magic.

10/10 for escaping the heat and finding your new fave spot.

Last Sunday, I let the menu choose me.

At manna’s Beggers Can’t Be Choosers, a chef choice’s dinner, I picked The Fiver: one veggie, one mystery, one fish, one meat, and one dessert. No substitutions, no hints. Just trust.

🥒 pickled plate with okra, pickles, onions, pickled watermelon rind, & banana peppers

🥬 kiltgreens in duck fat and chili aioli

🦀 Crab cakes with summer relish and remoulade

🍝 Hand-rolled bolognese with brasstown beef, browned breadcrumbs and fresh parm

🍫 A chocolate torte with amarena cherry, caramel, and the softest quenelle of whipped cream

🍸 Cocktails one kissed with cacao, bourbon and espresso, and the other, a spritz made
with peach, sage, and Thai basil

Each course arrived like a little secret I didn’t know I’d been waiting for.

And each pairing felt like a wink from the universe. ✨

Sometimes the most romantic thing is letting go of the plan.

Leaning into the unknown and letting yourself be surprised.

Last night’s dinner at Peregrine was a journey. From the way the menu is designed, Arrivals, Journeys, Departures, to the wabi-sabi-inspired interiors and subtle nods to nature (like the sculptural mangroves), every moment felt truly intentional.

We shared:
✨ Sheesh Kabobs with ground lamb, apple + spring onion salad
✨ Gem Lettuce with pistachio cream + pickled shallots
✨Tallow Roasted Carrots with cilantro yogurt + grasshopper
✨ Carne Asada with wagyu, mole pipian, kale + charred onion

Chef Saif even took us behind the scenes to talk about his passion: rooted in travel, tradition, and team. Their on-site garden grows fresh herbs and edible flowers that breathes life into each dish.

We ended the evening with a bourbon espresso martini infused with palo santo (at my request) and the blueberry fromage for dessert.

This space feels like a destination within Raleigh: for anyone who loves intentional dining, storytelling through food, and global flavors rooted in seasonality.
