*SEMI LONG POST* A few weeks ago my goal which is only one of MANY felt questioned or not that big of a deal .. small even. And not gonna lie it got to me and for the last week or so (though I’ve been putting out work) part of me started to question myself too… How dare I let someone that barely knew me question or downplay 10 yrs and counting of learning, creating, connecting, crying and lifting spirits… doubt me? Nah…I thought because I wanted so badly for them to finally take what I do seriously that their very unpopular opinion mattered… it doesn’t anymore. I’ve come so far and if you’re not pouring into me, supportive of me, impressed or even inspired by that then you don’t belong around me…. Many are miserable in their work spaces, I am privileged and risky enough to take this scary leap DAILY. I happen to LOVE what I do and continue to do so.I am GREAT at what I do..
