POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Life is crazy… honestly, who would’ve thought I’d ever be making a post like this.

Just under three years ago, I didn’t believe in God or religion.
I used to think… how could God exist in a world filled with so much hate, pain, and suffering?

Then life happened.
Grief happened.
And the questions started.

At first, I still didn’t believe… but I started to understand something.

I began to see the beauty in religion — not in the loud people online, or the ones doing wrong and still calling themselves men of God — but in the quiet places.

In the poor.
In the small communities.
In the people who didn’t have much, but still had faith.

That’s where I started to notice the good in it… not the evil we so often see in the world.

Those small moments, those small examples — they felt like signs of something starting to change in me.

Over time, I listened more.
Watched more.
Paid attention.

I saw the way faith brings people together, the sense of community, the strength it gives people when life gets heavy.

Someone once said to me,
“The evil in the world exists because we have free will… people choose to do wrong.”
That stayed with me. It made me think differently.

I heard stories — from Muslims, from Christians, from people whose faith was stronger than anything I’d ever seen before.

So I asked questions.
Got curious.
Started searching.

Not because I suddenly had all the answers…
But because I realised something — we need faith now more than ever.

Maybe not because religion itself is growing…
But because people are searching.

For meaning.
For purpose.
For something deeper than what the world keeps offering.

Through questions…
Through conversations…
Through videos, books, podcasts, debates, documentaries…
Through moments I still can’t fully explain…
Even through dreams…

And now… here we are.

Three years ago, I didn’t believe… today, I’m still searching — but now, I’m searching with faith.

Blessed 🖤

This picture isn’t just a moment, it’s a lifetime. It’s every story, every memory, every fight and every laugh stitched into something deeper than friendship. Call it brotherhood, call it loyalty — either way, it’s forever.”

My return will be EPIC.

Setbacks… they hit harder than people realise. They don’t just slow you down physically — they hit your head, your emotions, your focus. This one shifts my fitness goals for the year, forces me to rethink how I train, how I move, how I rebuild. But trust me when I say this: I will rebuild.

This page doesn’t stop either. Content doesn’t wait for anyone. So even flat on my back at home, I’ve got to think different, create different, and push this page forward. This isn’t just a hobby anymore — it’s part of me, and I refuse to let it stall.

Work? Same story. I give everything to my role, and being forced to step back makes my skin crawl. But distance doesn’t mean silence. I’ll still lead, still deliver, still push from wherever I am. I don’t sit still well — and I won’t start now.

The hardest part is relying on people. That’s not me. I hate it. I hate feeling exposed, vulnerable, needy. But life doesn’t care — sometimes it strips you down and leaves you no choice. And when it does — you either fold, or you fight.

To everyone who’s messaged, checked in, supported me already — thank you. Don’t ever think it goes unnoticed. Every word, every bit of help, every show of love is fuel for me right now.

And when I return, it won’t just be a comeback…
it’ll be EPIC.

Monday Motivation | Back Day at Hashtag Fitness

One of the things I wanted to do while I was home was get some sessions in with people who have been putting in the work since I left. It’s been amazing seeing the passion for training here and getting to share that experience with others. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to work out with nowhere near as many people as I had hoped! 10 days was not enough..

But I managed to get a few solo workouts in.

Monday reminder: Don’t underestimate where you start or how far consistency can take you. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just keep showing up, keep learning and keep putting in the work.

Let’s get it! 💪🏾🔥

Coming home 🇲🇼 ! Part 2 - I left Malawi 21 years ago, and life has taken me on a journey I could never have fully predicted. It’s been 15 years since I last came home, and returning has made me think differently about the future.

I don’t just want to come home for visits. I want to invest in my country. I want to build something meaningful back home. I want to create a legacy that my family can be proud of, something that goes beyond me and contributes to the place that will always be part of my story.

I don’t have all the answers yet, and I know these things take time. But sometimes, you need to return to your roots to understand what you want to build next.

Coming Home 🇲🇼 | Part 1

15 years. Fifteen years since I last came home to Malawi. 🇲🇼

I knew this trip would mean something to me, but I don’t think I fully appreciated just how much until I got here.

Meeting so many familiar faces, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new people, and seeing how much has changed while also recognising the things that feel exactly the same. It’s a strange feeling coming back after so long. Part of you feels like you never left, while another part realises just how much life has happened since then.

Coming home has a way of humbling you. It makes you stop, look around and reflect. It reminds you where you started, the people who helped shape you, and the experiences that made you the person you are today.

I started working out here in Malawi, inspired and guided by my uncles. That path stayed with me long after I left, and getting the opportunity to train with people who have continued taking the gym seriously since I’ve been away has been special. I wish I had more time to do everything I wanted to do, but I’m grateful for every moment I’ve managed to fit in.

Being back has also reminded me why I approach life the way I do. I’ve always believed in taking life head-on, making the most of opportunities, pushing through difficult seasons and refusing to let circumstances dictate how far I can go. Not because life is always easy, but because I know how precious the opportunity to live, grow and experience it really is.

Sometimes, you get so caught up in chasing the next goal, building your future and trying to become a better version of yourself that you forget to stop and appreciate the journey that brought you here.

This trip has given me a chance to do exactly that. To reconnect with my roots, appreciate the people around me, reflect on the journey so far and be thankful for how far I’ve come.

Fifteen years away, and here I am again. Older, hopefully wiser, with a whole lot of life behind me and still so much ahead of me.

Malawi, it’s good to be home. ❤️🇲🇼

Part 1 of the journey. More memories to come.

Monday Motivation 🇲🇼💪🏾

I started working out here in Malawi. I was shown the path by my uncles, and I’ve never really stopped since.

One of the things I wanted to do while I’m back was train with some of the people who have been taking the gym seriously since I left Malawi. It’s been amazing seeing how much people have progressed and grown in their own fitness journeys.

Unfortunately, I’m tight on time, so we’re trying to fit in as many people, conversations and workouts as possible while I’m here.

So, here’s the first one — shoulders & traps. 🔥 with @alicekchipanda..

Different journeys, different approaches, but the same love for training.

And there’s something quite special about coming back to where it all started and sharing that passion with people who are still putting in the work.

More to come. 🇲🇼🏋🏾‍♂️

Monday Motivation — the love for training.

I’ve been training for longer than most people realise, and I’ve been asked countless times why I never competed, became a PT, or took fitness in a more “serious” direction.

The truth is, I’ve always just loved training.

It started because I wanted to fit into a T-shirt and feel more confident. Somewhere along the way, it became part of who I am.

It’s my time. My space. Something I do for myself.

Yes, I’m vain. I like looking good, posing, taking photos and seeing what I can build. But training has also humbled me. There will always be someone bigger, stronger, fitter or more athletic.

I’m just happy in my own lane.

And after all these years, I still genuinely love it.

Monday Motivation — One year can change a lot.

This Wednesday marks one year since my surgery.

Looking back through these photos and videos, I don’t just see the injury. I see everything that happened around it.

I lost my home, moved back in with my mum, lost my dream car, had to change plans and, for a while, felt like I was losing the one thing that kept me sane — training and my physique.

But a lot happened that I couldn’t have predicted.

I became closer to my mum, my sister, my brother and my son. I took my son to Anfield and created a memory we’ll both have forever.

I met someone who has had a huge impact on my growth.

And most importantly, I found my way back to God.

I started attending church, reading the Bible, praying more regularly and studying my faith. I’m now on the journey towards becoming a Coptic Orthodox Christian and being baptised.

A year ago, I knew I’d come back from the surgery. I just didn’t know what the rest of the year would bring.

Now I look back and realise that maybe I needed to stop. To slow down. To reassess what actually mattered.

I’ve always wanted to be successful, help my family and help other people. I still want all of those things, but my understanding of what that looks like has changed.

So if you’re going through a period where things aren’t going how you planned, don’t assume that’s where your story ends.

Your route can change.

Your priorities can change.

And you can change.

A year ago, I couldn’t have imagined where I’d be now.

I’m grateful for the lessons, the people, the difficult moments and the good ones.

Most of all, I’m grateful to God.

Keep going. ✝️

Monday Motivation — The proof is in the pudding. 🥄

Consistency will get you the results you’ve always wanted.

You can take the lessons you learn from fitness and apply them to almost everything in life.

You repeat the same things over and over again. You build confidence in how you do them. Then you do a little more.

Bit by bit.

Until eventually, you realise you’re capable of doing far more than you ever thought you could.

You record your workouts so you can reflect on your progress. You hire coaches or ask people with more knowledge. You research. You learn. You make improvements to your training, nutrition and supplements.

And then one day, you look back and realise:

You look different.
You feel different.
You’re stronger.
You’re more capable.

Not because of one great workout, but because of hundreds of consistent ones.

And the same principle applies to life.

Your career. Your relationships. Your problems. Your finances. Your faith. Your personal growth.

There is so much transferable value in simply building consistent habits and sticking with them.

Do the work. Learn from it. Make adjustments. Keep going. Then repeat.

You might not notice the change every day, but keep showing up and eventually the results become undeniable.

Apply that mindset to the rest of your life and see how much can change.

And as always, put God at the forefront of everything you do. ✝️

Have a great week ahead.

Monday Motivation — Working out fasted & first thing in the morning! 🌅

I was listening to the DOC podcast with Dr Huberman, and he was talking about resistance training first thing in the morning, alongside some cardio, and the benefits it can have for both your body and your mind. It got me thinking…

If you ask me, I’ll always say I prefer working out first thing in the day and doing it fasted.

Now, neither is necessary — but personally, I’ve always felt better training in the morning and fasted. I feel like I have more energy, I enjoy my sessions more, and I tend to feel hungrier throughout the day afterwards.

These days, though, work and travel mean I often end up training in the evening. On my days off, and especially when I’m working from home, I’ll usually train first thing as soon as I wake up.

So I guess I’m a bit of a hybrid… 😂

Hybrid athlete, hybrid training schedule!

Ultimately, the best time to train is the time that works for you — the important thing is that you get up and get it done.

Monday Motivation 💪🏽 | Working Out on Holiday ☀️

As I’m posting some holiday content, I thought this would be the perfect time to talk about something I’m often asked…

Do I work out when I’m on holiday?

When I say yes, people are always surprised. The response is usually:

“But you’re on holiday! Take a break and enjoy yourself!”

And the truth is… I do take a break.

I don’t train as frequently, I don’t train as hard, and my workouts are usually much more relaxed. But training is still something I enjoy.

I think when you realise that, for some of us, fitness isn’t just a hobby but a way of life, it makes more sense.

Looking after my body and my mind doesn’t stop because I’m on holiday. Training makes me feel good, gives me energy and is simply part of who I am.

So yes, I enjoy the food. I relax. I explore. I take a break from my normal routine.

But sometimes, enjoying my holiday also means waking up, going to the gym and getting a workout in. 💪🏽

Your lifestyle should be something you enjoy living, not something you constantly need a break from.
