Bar goals. Spotted at @theorycoffee A coffee truck that proves the bar does not need to be big to be serious. Custom orange Strada and @mahlkonig grinder with PUQ press integrated unit doing its job in a space where every centimetre counts. The integrated line was built for exactly this. No extra footprint, no extra step. The tamp happens under the grinder and the workflow keeps moving, whether you are in a 200 square metre café or a truck. Every bar has its own personality. The tamp stays the same. Find yours via the link in bio. by @theorycoffee
Open until 6:00pm, every day!!!! Come see us! by @theorycoffee
Theory Coffee in San Antonio operates out of a small trailer next to a few other food businesses in a location they call Flavor Corner. You can swing by to try their classic espresso drink menu prepared on a custom orange Strada X. by @theorycoffee

It took a ton of courage to sit down and write this post, because I don’t know where to begin or what to even say…. I’m still in shock. Kenneth James was 50 years old, a hard working, dedicated husband and father of three boys. He passed this week after a medical emergency, which ultimately let to a car crash that placed his body into a state that he wasn’t able to recover from. If you were able to catch KJ at any of the shops here in town that he loved, you were always going to get a conversation full of heart and passion. Theory was one of his favorite stops, to refuel his mind and body in between jobs, or long hauls to the valley and back. The universe was always right when we would see KJ roll into the lot for a red eye, house coffee, or a breve Cortado. Within a few days as a new hire at Theory, you just knew KJ and his order, because that’s the impact he had. If you ever went across the street to get gas at the 7-Eleven and had to drive around the building to get to the other side because it was blocked by an 18 wheeler, that’s because KJ had his concrete truck parked while he got his flavor corner fix. And yes, I was lucky enough to blast the air horn when it was parked one time 😉I’ll still remember his big ol grin on his face when that horn went off. Kenneth was THE only customer at Theory to consistently bring his coffee stained Theory branded fellow mug to the trailer. I actually cleaned the coffee stains out of it one time for him(maybe against his will), and we laughed afterwards about how it probably doesn’t taste as good. This world isn’t fair, and we often loose the good ones too soon. I’ll always cherish each conversation I was able to have along with each cup of coffee I was able to make, forever. Rest in peace, King. I miss you bad already Alex at Indy Coffee is shifting his after hours GTG into a plate fund raiser for the James’ family. The details will be posted soon, so lock in if you’d like to be a part of the contribution. The second photo has a couple of ways to help the James' family out(IG cut the photo off) , if you're looking to lend a hand. Love you. Cash App $MzSmokestaxx by @theorycoffee

BTS of our Volume 13 shoot with @iamforher 🎞️ Our second Scouting for a Cause shoot took us somewhere that has become a bit of a second office for the For Her team: Theory Coffee and The Flavor Corner! We shot @kayla.a.carter and her team with Michael in a place that’s actually part of their story. Theory and Naco have become such a tradition at For Her that every new team member is officially welcomed with a Theory coffee and a Naco taco. So when we started talking about where we could photograph this group, it just made sense! This shoot was especially meaningful to us because For Her was selected as one of the recipients of our Scouting for a Cause contest earlier this year. Since founding the organization in 2013, Kayla and her team have built an incredible network of support for women in our community, helping provide the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to move forward and thrive. And we loved getting to tell a little bit of that story somewhere the team genuinely spends time together. It felt casual, fun, and very them, which is exactly what we wanted these photos to feel like. We’re so excited to have For Her represented in Volume 13 and to use these pages to help introduce even more people to the work Kayla and her team are doing right here in San Antonio. 🤍 by @theorycoffee
