100 days.
That’s the first chapter.

If you had 100 days to take someone from almost no golf experience and lay the foundations for the next 20 months, how would you spend them?

The next part of The Outsider’s Open is finding the right people.

I’m now starting the search for the coaching team and specialists who will help shape the Florida and Dubai training periods.

Driver. Iron play. Putting.

Those are just three of the areas represented here.

I’m not looking for a set number of coaches.

I’m looking for the right people.

People who are exceptional at what they do.

People who understand player development.

People who can genuinely add something to the journey.

The goal is to build the strongest environment possible around one very ambitious objective.

So this time, I want to tap into the golf community.

Some ideas are sensible.

This one is deliberately not.

The Outsider’s Open is a 24-month attempt to take someone from almost zero golf experience to the doorstep of Open Championship qualification.

And we know exactly how we intend to approach it.

The coaching.
The equipment.
The training bases.
The performance programme.
The competition.
The travel.
The data.

Every detail has a purpose.

Now there’s an opportunity for one founding partner to become part of it from the very beginning.

That partner could be a company.

Or it could simply be an individual who sees the appeal of being involved in something completely different.

For less than the price of some people’s watches, you could have a front-row seat to a 24-month experiment that has one very ambitious question at its centre:

How far can an outsider actually go?

There will be no guarantee of the ending.

But there is a guarantee that the journey will be extraordinary.

Getting to the first tee is the easy part.

Building someone capable of competing for a place at The Open is something else entirely.

The plan has to account for everything.

Coaching.
Equipment.
Practice.
Performance.
Fitness.
Nutrition.
Recovery.
Competition.
Data.
Travel.
Environment.

None of it can be an afterthought.

Every decision has to serve the same objective:
Give an outsider the best possible chance of becoming an Open contender in 24 months.

The plan is being built now.

The next challenge is turning the plan into reality.

Where would you build yourself?

Three places are currently on our shortlist:

🇺🇸 Jupiter, Florida
A ridiculous concentration of elite golf, coaches, players and infrastructure.

🇦🇪 Dubai
A modern golf environment built around year-round training, performance and world-class facilities.

🇪🇸 Marbella, Spain
A huge European golf ecosystem, exceptional courses and far easier access to the UK.

But I’m not convinced we’ve got the answer yet.

There may be somewhere we haven’t considered.

There may be a course, academy, coach or community that completely changes the equation.

So I want to hear from golfers who actually know these places:

Where would you choose — and why?

And if you think we’re overlooking somewhere entirely…

If we’re serious about finding out whether an outsider can reach The Open,
We need more than a final handicap to tell the story.
.
We measure the golf first.
Every round.
Every score.
Every practice session.
Every lesson.
Every tournament.
Handicap.
Driving distance.
Club speed.
Fairways.
Greens.
Putting.
Short game.
Scoring.
.
Then we measure everything around it.
Strength and gym progression.
Mobility and conditioning.
Nutrition.
Recovery.
Body composition.
Blood work and biomarkers.
.
Because every part of the process leaves a number somewhere.
.
The baseline gets recorded.
The work gets documented.
The numbers get tracked.
For 24 months.
.
And at the end, we won’t just know whether it worked.
We’ll know what changed.
.
24 months. One attempt. The Open Qualifying.

The roadmap is taking shape.
Now it’s time to build the team.

Every detail is being planned:-
The coaching
Training
Equipment
Performance
Nutrition
Travel
Courses
Competitions
and everything in between.

Because reaching The Open from where I’m starting won’t happen by accident.

It will take the right people,
The right knowledge,
and a lot of work behind the scenes.

Some may be among the best in the world at what they do.

Others may be a coach at a small course in the UK,
a specialist with one piece of knowledge that changes something, a creator who wants to tell part of the story, or a company with an idea that makes the journey better.

There is no minimum size to being part of this.

If you have something to bring to The Outsider’s Open
Big or small,
I want to hear it.

Because this isn’t just a journey I’m building.
