This first day of fall, we just wanted to say thank you Philly for another amazing Oval season. What an incredible celebration! Our second Summer Games at the Eakins Oval was an absolute blast, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing energy of everyone who joined us. Huge shoutout to the @aamwaphilly , @thorzenlife, @phillytrackjawn, and all our incredible partners, volunteers and vendors who made the day unforgettable. 🎉A special thank you to Philadelphia Parks & Rec and the Eakins Oval team for their kindness and support all summer long. Mural Arts Fest: Voices of Philly, presented by @tdbank_us, takes over @theovalphl from 2 PM to 7 PM, kicking off Mural Arts Month with a full day of live music, art, food, and community!Here’s what to expect:Live performances from Philly’s finest performers.DJ sets throughout the afternoon.Our Vendor Marketplace features local artists, makers, and businesses.Community Row with organizations making an impact across the city.Interactive art: live painting, henna, airbrushing, printmaking, fiber art, and portrait drawing.Family fun with facepainting, balloon animals, button and friendship bracelet-making, and bounce basketball.@togetherathletics hosting a movement activity to kick off the festival, perfect for all ages!
