If you’re into tea or want to try something new, check out the tea time at @verzenaychicago in Lincoln Park, Chicago. The bites are scrumptious and the tea is delicious (that gorgeous pink tea in the video is Scandinavian detox). I reserved my spot using Tock.

And while you’re there, check out some of their other mouth melting treats. I highly recommend the raspberry rose croissant, it’ll change your life 😉 taken in Verzenay Chicago by @thepalatechaser

Checked out @eatpistores in River North, Chicago. And I’ll be back soon because I need some Detroit style pizza and their desserts are calling my name 🤤

Wednesday I got to spend an evening with @grandbabycakes at her Chicago book signing for her new cookbook, Everyday Grand. The room was filled with great energy and snacks! Also Jocelyn is such a vibrant spirit!

Pick up Everyday Grand now because there’s a recipe for everyone! I personally will be starting with her oxtail recipe or maybe the crab cake hush puppies, I can’t decide 🤔😋 taken in Room & Board by @thepalatechaser

Another day, another Chicago restaurant week stop. This time I checked out dinner at @theperchchicago.

$42 for homemade chips with blue cheese sauce, Prime rib and potatoes (extra charge and well worth it), and let me talk about this Oreo ice cream sandwich (it was everything and then some!!!) by @thepalatechaser

First stop for Chicago Restaurant Week @caferobey for brunch 🥂. $25 brunch includes a starter and a main. I chose the loaded potato cake and double cheeseburger with the passion fruit mimosa as a honorable mention (sold separately 😉) taken in Café Robey by @thepalatechaser

Finally made my trip to Virtue Restaurant on Chicago’s south side.

Food I tried:
• Biscuits with pimento cheese
• Fried green tomatoes
• Short rib with spinach and mashed potatoes
• Mac and cheese
• Banana pudding with a scoop of ice cream by @thepalatechaser
