The Kemetic Tree of Life teaches a profound principle: the path upward begins with Auset (Isis).

Auset represents the power of divine wisdom, intuition, protection, motherhood, and the ability to restore what has been broken. She is not simply a figure to worship she represents a consciousness that must be developed.

The journey to the top of the Tree is not about bypassing the feminine.

It is about moving through her.

You cannot reach higher consciousness while remaining disconnected from intuition, wisdom, ancestry, emotional intelligence, and the creative force that gives life.

But eventually, you have to choose what happens next.

Trauma can shape your patterns.
Your childhood can program your responses.
Your environment can influence your identity.

But awareness gives you a choice.

What happens to a people when freedom is taken away for generations and the psychological consequences continue long after the chains are gone?

Anxiety. Hypervigilance. Depression. Distrust. Identity confusion. Survival-based thinking. The constant feeling that you have to protect yourself, prove yourself, or stay alert.

These patterns can be understood through the lens of captivity and intergenerational trauma.

For African Americans, slavery was not simply a historical event. It was a system that attacked family structures, identity, autonomy, language, culture, and the ability to control one’s own life. The question is not whether those experiences can leave psychological and social consequences the question is how those consequences continue to show up today.

Sometimes what looks like a personal problem is connected to a much older pattern.

You can’t change a pattern you don’t recognize.

At the deepest level, the human lineage has its roots in Africa.

So if the Creator of humanity is God, and humanity itself ultimately comes from the people He originally created in Africa, then why would the Creator’s chosen people have to be separated from that original people?

If God created humanity through an African root, then the people He originally created cannot simply be written out of the story.

The question isn’t whether African people belong somewhere in humanity’s story.

We are at the root of the story.

And if the Creator chose a people to carry His covenant, then that choice has to be understood in light of the people, ancestry, and history from which humanity emerged.

Sometimes the breakdown isn’t the beginning of the problem.

It’s the moment the performance becomes impossible to maintain.

The ego you constructed to survive.
The personality you learned to present.
The version of you people became comfortable with.

Eventually, the actor gets tired.

And when the identity you’ve been performing begins to collapse, you may start searching for a diagnosis to explain the experience.

Sometimes that diagnosis reveals a real psychological condition.

But sometimes the deeper question is one we rarely ask:

What if what’s breaking down isn’t you—
but the version of you that was never designed to last?

Maybe the pattern isn’t asking,
“What’s wrong with me?”

The Black man in America was born into a world already named for him.

Before he could define himself, a language was waiting to define him.

The categories were already created.
The history had already been written.
The institutions were already operating.
The standards of success, intelligence, beauty, religion, education, and even identity had already been established.

But here’s the deeper question:

What if the language and system you were born into were not the language and systems your ancestors originally understood themselves through?

Language does more than describe reality—it gives us the categories through which we interpret reality.

So when a people lose access to ancestral languages, names, symbols, histories, and cultural frameworks, they can eventually begin understanding themselves primarily through concepts inherited from another society.

That creates a profound psychological question:

Who were you before someone else’s language told you who you were?

Maybe liberation isn’t simply learning how to succeed inside the system.

Maybe part of liberation is developing enough historical and psychological awareness to examine the system itself—and consciously decide which parts of your inherited identity are actually yours.

Before you can truly know yourself, you may have to investigate the language that taught you how to describe yourself.
