Producer/Associate Producer @975thefanatic | CEO @noimwatchingfootball

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am happy to announce I have accepted a position as a part-time associate producer and producer at 97.5 The Fanatic Radio Station in Philadelphia. It is a blessing to be back home and working alongside so many dedicated, hard-working individuals especially on the Fanatic’s afternoon show, “Unfiltered,” where I have done most of my work so far.

With that, this is a very bittersweet announcement. I typically don’t post about my personal life on this account, but my Uncle Zak is worth talking about.

Jesus unexpectedly took him home in late September. He was the first family member that I told about getting the position. I nearly swore him into secrecy and considering some of my family didn’t know until after he was gone… I guess he really took it to the grave. (It’s okay to laugh).

I told him first because I knew if I found a way to mess up this opportunity, he wouldn’t judge me. He’d sit there, speak confidence into me and erase every negative thought I had of myself. He always had more confidence in me, my sister and my cousins than we will ever have in ourselves.

The biggest New York sports fan I know only had the words to congratulate and support his niece on getting a job in the Philadelphia sports market.

Everyone needs an Uncle Zak in their corner. Proudly cheering them on and ready to lift them up when times get tough. Along with providing some of the most interesting and random sports facts.

I pray one day I’ll meet you up there and we can play wiffle ball with Babe Ruth and Wally Pipp together. For now, I’ll have the pleasure of missing you.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a minor in sports studies from Louisiana State University in May.

I am so grateful for the sports journalism experience I gained while working as a sports director for @klsufm and as a sports reporter and podcast co-host for @lsutigertv throughout my four years at LSU.

I am so thankful for this experience, and I am excited to see where this next chapter takes me. 💜 taken in Louisiana State University by @thepcbreakdown

Another fun story I did this summer, this time about sweet treats 🍨

So happy that I had the opportunity to tell Chuck’s story and showcase how passionate he is about his business.
