this year in my life is about reclaiming what i have lost

God knows i lost myself

started with a deep understanding of that no matter how good we do, we will never satisfy everybody, i create a place not for everybody where i have no plan to please everybody, so some might like it, some might don’t, some might love it, some might hate it, it’s up to you

PUCK, presented by @toffin.id, located at the place i started everything more than a decade ago, is a place for collaborations and classes, from regular classes by Department of Necessary Education (DNE) to SCA classes and WCC Judge Skills Programs workshops

as this small place is not for everybody, we need to limit entry, to enter the place and receive service you will need to give us a full 1 star google review beforehand, we don’t accept more stars or you will be denied entry, i’m gatekeeping the space

and our pricing policy subjects to change according to the visitor’s attitude

come as a friend, we will welcome you with arms open wide

come as a king, we will tell you that you’re in the wrong place and let you know what happened to bad kings, we have prepared the throne

first workshop will happen on 8-9 January 2026 for WCC Judge Skills Program Brewers Cup, it is only for 6 participants, i want to keep it small so i can share everything i know about competition from my 13 years experience of judging in the world level in a more intimate and deeper way

and to mark the unofficial opening day, first collaboration will happen on 10 January 2026, 9AM to 5PM or finish earlier, two dearest friends will do the pop up to takeover our space, @ferzazref from @_tadasih Yogyakarta will showcase his filter coffee and @kozirama from @kozi.coffee Bandung will showcase his rambak noodle

kembali ke cerita waktu mulai kelas 12 tahun lalu, mesin yang saya pakai buat ngajar adalah mesin pinjaman dari @tjiamcharles, dulu ambil di pabriknya di daerah daan mogot tangerang pakai motor scoopy, diikat di jok belakang dan bawa langsung ke kios di pasar santa

kemudian selama perjalanan ngejuri ke beberapa kejuaraan dunia banyak dibantu oleh @themillion.faces di mana waktu zee kerja di sebuah maskapai timteng saya dimasukkan ke close friend group nya jadi bisa dapat tiket jauh lebih terjangkau

jadinya hepi banget charles dan zee bisa ikutan di kelas perdana @departmentofnecessaryeducation, thank you for being a part of my journey 🙇🏻‍♂️

kelas ini sangat emosional karena setelah melepaskan yang sebelumnya, ini menjadi kesempatan untuk memulai dan menata hidup kembali , ga merasa nyesal, ga ada ‘what if’, cuma ada ‘it is what it is’

pada bulan agustus 12 tahun lalu ketika memulai sebuah kelas kopi di kios kecil di pasar santa, saya hanya memiliki bekal pengalaman sebagai barista di sebuah kios kecil super sibuk di sebuah kota, juga kemudian mendapat tambahan sertifikasi Q Grader dari CQI dan 1x juri teknikal WBC

tahun ini, di bulan yang sama dan kembali ke pasar santa, saya akan memulai kembali dari kecil dengan bekal tambahan sebagai Authorised SCA Trainer (AST), Q Instructor dan juri World Coffee Championship dengan pengalaman 21 kejuaraan dunia untuk seluruh cabang kompetisi sejak 2013

sebagai bagian dari persiapan, pada akhir bulan Juli lalu kami menjalankan sebuah kelas privat untuk satu orang selama 3 hari sambil memperkenalkan @departmentofnecessaryeducation dan filosofinya

terima kasih H.E. Mr. Zahid Hafeez Chaudri, Duta Besar Republik Islam Pakistan, yang telah bergabung bersama kami di kelas kopi DNE

bagi yang berminat mengikuti kelas coffee fundamental DNE, kelas kopi SCA, atau Judge Skills Program dan membutuhkan informasi jadwal kelas silakan mengikuti akun @jacoweeknetwork

2026 wcigs in brussels is my 6th wcigs and 21st wcc across all 6 championships in total, and next year thinking about volunteering as a time keeper for wctc

Ellenka Barista Festival 2026 merupakan serangkaian acara @ellenkaprofessional yang akan dilakukan di 8 kota besar di Indonesia

Di setiap kota, acara akan berlangsung selama 2 hari di mana pada hari pertama akan saya isi dengan sesi presentasi dan tanya jawab tentang strategi untuk bertahan dan berkembang di industri kopi sementara pada hari kedua akan ada kompetisi regional yang akan saya pimpin dalam penjuriannya menggunakan peraturan dan tata tertib yang saya buat khusus untuk kompetisi ini

Empat besar peserta dari setiap babak regional akan bertanding di babak nasional yang akan berlangsung di Jakarta dengan biaya transportasi dan akomodasi yang ditanggung penuh oleh Ellenka untuk memperebutkan 1 unit mobil EV seharga ratusan juta rupiah dan hadiah lainnya
