Today @diglocalnetwork farmers market a customer asked me if I would be @atlanticbeachfarmersmarket tomorrow, and I said “no, but the Goods will be 😁my kids will be manning the booth” they replied “oh cuz it’s it’s Mother’s Day!” And I started to cry… Because I realized I was getting the BEST Mother’s Day gift of all!! I absolutely love what farmers markets create. ❤️At the St. Augustine Amphitheater Farmers Market, one customer was getting ready to try my fresh pico de gallo when another customer walked up carrying a loaf of bread. They were chatting, laughing, and so comfortable with each other that I just assumed they were husband and wife.They looked at me and started laughing…They had never met before. 😂That’s the magic of farmers markets. Today, a woman walked up to my booth at the @pontevedrafridaymarket and said, “I’ve never been here before.”She told me she’d had a note sitting on her desk for six months reminding her to visit the market, but every Friday something came up. Then this morning, one of my videos appeared on her phone. Every Friday at the @pontevedrafridaymarket , I get to feed some of the best people, and this longtime customer always keeps me laughing.He walked up pretending he’d never tried my pico before. 🤣 After one “sample,” he looked at me and said, “That’s delicious. I’ll take three.”The funny part? He used to leave with two picos and a bean dip. Now it’s three picos and a bean dip. That’s what happens when the goods become part of your weekly routine.My favorite moment comes at the end. People always ask me if social media actually brings people to the markets 😜🧐Meet Valerie😉😍🥰🤩She first reached out on Facebook asking where she could find the goods.
