It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Kendra, our PIER Foundation grant writer and a cherished member of our community.

Kendra brought positivity, encouragement, and light wherever she went. She loved being present in this group and was always willing to pour into others with kind words and a hopeful spirit. Though she lost her battle with cancer, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from pain.

Please keep her family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Kendra’s impact, kindness, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Kendra. Your legacy of positivity and service will continue to inspire us all. 🕊️❤️🙏🏾 by @thepierfoundation

This Saturday, our Co-Founder Joe Nastasi will serve as Honorary Captain for Penn State’s matchup against FIU. 🔵⚪️

From Player —> Coach —> Philanthropist, Joe’s journey reflects the same mission we strive for every day at PIER:
⭐️Providing opportunities
⭐️Inspiring communities
⭐️Edcuating the youth
💫Repeating the cycle

We’re proud to see Joe honored by the team he once captained, and hope to see (and hear) you all in the crowd supporting them 🗣️
