Honored and grateful for the @bestofthenetanthology nomination for my short story “Looking into the Sun.” It’s a piece that means a lot me. Special thanks to @thepinchjournal , @courtneysanto @calebtmckee , @o.okohia ,@mwanigaminage, @eudyh1313 , for publishing the story and for the nomination. There is a link in my bio if you want to read it.

Also, in honor of this week...leading up to Halloween...to those scrambling parents whose teens did not want a costume until the very last minute...
Swipe to see one of my favorite Halloween costumes. Love a @goodwillintl costume beefed up with some wit.

And props to the amazing other authors nominated this year by @pinch

In honor of “Before I Had the Words” being featured in @qpoemaday_com today, (thank you!! 🏳️‍🌈) I wanted to share a video of me reading this poem back in August at @literaryspeakeasy 🍸

This piece also had the honor of being first published in @thepinchjournal which still feels like a dream 🌙💫
