Blessed to see ANOTHER birthday which I do not take for granted‼️ 🎂🎉🎂
.
Last year this time I was completely DRAINED from literally over working myself in efforts to avoid the loss of my mom back in 2020. Since then I have TRIED my best to enjoy each and every day and find a balance between getting MONEY (which I still love to do), staying in shape and taking time for MYSELF.❤️

2023 has been a year of REFLECTION and ACCEPTANCE. December 2, 2020 at 4:45 pm I received the call from the hospital that my HERO lost her battle to Covid. Literally from that day I worked relentlessly between Real Estate, Taxes and Parks and Recreation business not FULLY processing my mother’s death and the impact it had on me.
.
As a result I sacrificed my health gaining weight and loosing the energy to juggle all of the businesses I have run for the last 20 plus years. I made the decision on my birthday I would commit myself to getting my mind, body and spirit in alignment and ACCEPTING my new norm.
.
The sacrifice I made financially with this decision made me TRULY understand the saying “Health is Wealth” and it was the best choice I could have ever made‼️

🌟 A Day of Giving Back & Winning Big! 🌟

Yesterday was nothing short of incredible as East Point’s very own Director of Parks & Recreation and Cultural Affairs, Shellord Pinkett, participated in the 13th Annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament — all for a great cause! ⛳️

This amazing event, hosted by the one and only Coach Hendrix who serves as the Interim Superintendent of Clayton County, aimed to raise funds to support our youth. And guess what?

Shellord’s team brought home the win! 🏆

Representing Cooper Carry, the talented team behind our upcoming state-of-the-art Multi-Plex Recreation Center, Shellord’s victory is a reminder that when our community comes together, we can achieve amazing things. 🙌

We’re proud to support our youth and excited about the future of East Point’s recreational programs! Big thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event such a success. ❤️

🏀 FULL CIRCLE MOMENT AT EAST POINT P&R 🏀

What a special day for East Point Parks & Recreation. We had the honor of hosting UNC standout and future NBA lottery pick @c.dubbb for his 1st Annual Caleb Wilson Basketball Camp right here at the rec center where it all started.💚🖤💚

Seeing our gym filled with young athletes learning, competing and being inspired is exactly what this space is built for. We’re proud to be part of Caleb’s journey and even prouder that he came back home to pour into the next generation. 🏠

This is what community looks like.
