WORLD DEBUT of The Pink Jet!! 💕✈️

Say hello to the world’s first fighter trainer jet for breast cancer awareness and fighting this deadly disease. This incredible creation is the result of so many people’s hard work and vision to become reality. This L-39 Albatros jet will be piloted by a fantastic crew of pilots.

Steve Oakley and his wife Jamie have championed this jet from the beginning with the purpose of empowering breast cancer survivors, inspiring early detection, and raising awareness for breast cancer.

You will see this beautiful bird all over at various shows and events to shine a light on a disease that affects millions of people. I’ve personally been affected: My beloved mother had stage 3 breast cancer and thankfully survived. So grateful for all the incredible research, treatment, and doctors out there!

Happy Anniversary Pink Jet!! 🩷✈️

It’s amazing what can happen in just 12 months. 1 year ago today, this L-39 Albatros jet was transformed - generously from donors & sponsors - from a blue and white military trainer jet to a bright pink symbol of hope, strength and compassion for breast cancer awareness and supporting survivors.

I’ve just entered into a half marathon for April 2027.
I don’t run.
I never have.

I’m raising money for breast cancer this year, as many know, with @thepinkjet. A cancer diagnosis is terrifying, turning lives upside down in an instant and forcing people to face something they could never have prepared for. Whilst I would never compare running a half marathon to the immense challenges faced by those affected by cancer, taking on this challenge feeling so inexperienced will give me a small sense of what it feels like to be thrown into something unexpected. It reminds me that, whilst this is a huge challenge for me, it is nothing compared to what so many people face following a diagnosis.

So, as a weightlifter through and through I’ll be completing 13.1 miles in April 2027! Eeek!

Please donate, whatever you can, whether it’s £1 or however many you have to give, to a charity who wholeheartedly supports the journey so many women have to endure, with no choice.
