Hello! In case you’ve not seen me before or haven’t seen me for a while, I wanted to pop up and say hello 👋. I’m Louisa - or more often known as Lou - and I’m thrilled that you’ve discovered The Pink Pheasant 😀.

For those who don’t already know me, I first started up my small business almost 9 years ago now - very quietly at the time (as I really didn’t have the confidence to shout about what I was doing!) - but I knew I loved and got a real buzz from discovering, creating and offering beautiful items that would spark joy and be perfect for you to gift to someone special or to treasure for yourself!

In those early days, much of my time was spent creating bespoke fabric lined and personalised keepsake boxes to store your treasures in. I have a healthy obsession with gorgeous fabrics, bold patterns and lots of feel good colour - which is often evident in my handmade lampshades that i make now - and so over the years my small business has evolved to offer a carefully curated range of not only my handmade lighting to accessorise your homes but also offering an amazing collection of practical, colourful and stylish fashion accessories and knitwear that I know you’ll love and want to use on repeat. ❤️

Outside of The Pink Pheasant I love nothing more than time and adventures with my family, including our four legged family members, a spot of cooking & baking (I can’t resist a new recipe book!), good food (most often though cooked by my husband), making a mess in the garden (I’m always working out which plants need to grow where and often getting it wrong!) and having fun and laughter with good friends ❤️.

So grateful for you finding The Pink Pheasant, for supporting small businesses like mine and for following along on this journey - and I’m so excited to see where The Pink Pheasant journey goes in 2026 and I do hope you’ll continue to follow along ☺️❤️

See you soon! ❤️ Lou x

I’m all for simple, stress free, formulas that mean I feel comfy, cosy and put together ✅. I know I’m not alone here! 😀❤️.

❤️ love accessorising these gorgeous jumpers (paired with favourite jeans of course) with a fabulous bag and a snuggly scarf that I know will mix and match with lots of other pieces in the wardrobe too!

Today I’m getting lots of goodies ready for the Hungerford Christmas Fair that is on Friday and Saturday this week - always such a lovely event and hopefully I will see some of you there - I’ll be bringing a selection of fab knits and accessories like these with me too!

I’m definitely not alone as someone who likes to keep things simple when it comes to getting dressed and I always look for pieces that I can mix and match with some of my wardrobe favourites, like my favourite 👖- this way I hopefully get lots of easy options for getting dressed (without the stress) but can still feel put together ❤️

And because I know lots of you, like me, love being able to pull together simple, comfy outfit choices that don’t compromise on style I’ve loved sourcing the new pieces for the new season that I’ve now put online.

These here are a few of the new pieces I’ve selected which work effortlessly with your wardrobe favourites - simple, stylish pieces that do the work for you ❤️☺️ by @thepinkpheasant

Lots of fun today trying on a fabulous array of new pieces, just in, that are perfect if, like me, you love building a wardrobe of items that will pair well with a favourite pair of jeans 👖 😀. It’s fair to say that other than during the heatwaves I spend a lot of my days in jeans, so it’s always a joy to source versatile, stylish and comfy pieces that work brilliantly with jeans and equally will pair beautifully with your other wardrobe favourites so you can make the most of wearing the items you really love.

Let me know your favourites - I’d love to know ☺️

This week I’ve mostly been watching paint dry 👌 … and clearing out lots of ‘stuff’, reorganising/making space, more painting and filling and shuffling lots of very bulky furniture about in a small space (and then asking Mr P to saw it into smaller bits!).

And now I’m feeling like my workspace has had a much needed little refresh - and now I’m ready to sort out some new stock and some more fab sale bits too 😀. Hope you are having a great week whatever you have been up to ❤️

The garden is definitely my place of calm at the moment, but something definitely happens to time when I am out here and before I know it several hours have passed!!

I know I’m not alone with this - is the garden your calm space too?

Hope you have a lovely weekend whatever you have planned ❤️
