Feature Friday 🩵✨ We talk a lot about wedding colors here in the Suite and the importance of creating a cohesive look by pulling colors together. This Soul Train-inspired wedding executed exactly what we’re always talking about, and did it perfectly! 🩵✨ We are absolutely obsessed with the bright colors and fun fonts used for Nicole and Jacob’s special day! When it came to choosing their colors and fonts, Nicole shared that she pulled inspiration directly from the Soul Train logo and set design to bring their vision to life. And the result? The most perfect, cohesive design that was full of color, personality, and fun! Drop a 🩵 to show this couple all the love! Do you know a couple who had a stunning wedding we should feature? Sometimes, the next chapter means letting go of the one you built. Whether you’re new to the event industry and realizing it may not be the right fit, or you’ve been in the game for years and feel like you’ve done your time, walking away from your business isn’t always easy. After all, it’s the thing you’ve BUILT, from the ground up!✨ In this clip, Kawania Wooten of @howertonwooten shares an important reminder: succession planning starts BEFORE you’re ready to leave. That means preparing your team, teaching them the systems and processes you’ve worked so hard to build, and helping them get financially ready to purchase the business when the time comes. And here’s the good news: there are grants and other resources available to help support that transition! 👏🏽 Your legacy doesn’t have to end when you step away. Sometimes, the greatest thing you can do for your business is prepare someone else to carry it forward✨🩵 🎙️ Be sure to check out the full episode, “Education Is Key,” featuring Kawania Wooten on Instagram and Spotify!🩵✨ by @theplannerssuite
We know, we know… when it comes to steaming, we’re beating a dead horse at this point, BUT WE’RE GOING TO KEEP TALKING ABOUT IT!😂🩵 Because yes your wedding dress needs it. No, we’re not letting this conversation go anytime soon! 😂 Here’s the thing: getting your wedding dress professionally steamed may not be as expensive as you think! Whitney has personally taken dresses to be steamed for local brides, and she’s found that pricing often ranges from $75–$120, depending on the style of the dress. So before you skip this step or assume it’s going to cost you an arm and a leg, do a little research and get a quote! Those wrinkles are NOT invited to the wedding. 😭😂 Want to hear this full conversation? 👀 Be sure to check out our full episode, “Hidden Costs When Wedding Planning,” on YouTube and Spotify! Brides, consider this your friendly reminder to go get your dress steamed. 🩵✨ by @theplannerssuite
“Am I the Bridezilla?” 🩵✨ We’ve been getting an influx of stories from BOTH brides and wedding planners, and we want to make sure there’s space for everyone to share their experiences. So, we’re creating a space for these conversations in the Suite! 🩵✨ Here’s how it’s going to work! 🩵 Every other Friday: We’ll share YOUR stories. (Don’t worry feature Friday isn’t going anywhere) ✨ The following Wednesday: We’ll go LIVE to discuss your comments, thoughts, and perspectives. And sometimes, we’ll even bring in industry professionals to join the conversation! We’re kicking things off with this question, and on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:30 PM we’ll go live on TikTok to unpack this conversation together. Follow us at @theplannerssuite so you don’t miss it! 💬 In the meantime, drop your thoughts in the comments! We may just bring your perspective into our live discussion. 👀 📩 Keep those stories coming! Whether you’re a bride or a planner, we want to hear from you. ✨ Email: theplannerssuite@gmail.com ✨ Or submit your story through the submission box on our website (link in bio). Let’s keep the conversations going✨🩵 by @theplannerssuite

Throwing it BACK to our episode “Protecting your Intellectual Property” with Mahalia of @cest.belle.events ! 🩵✨ One thing we talked about that STILL sticks with us: just because you’re a small business doesn’t mean you have to treat it like a small business. Ever heard the phrase, “fake it ’til you make it”? 👀 Sometimes it really is about continuing to show up, continuing to deliver, and presenting your business like the business you KNOW it can become. But there’s also another side…being willing to learn, ask questions, grow, and be honest about what you can and CAN’T do yet. Because you don’t want to be known as the vendor who over promised, but under delivered😵‍💫 If you haven’t watched the full episode yet, be sure to check it out on using the link in our bio!!✨ Comment 🩵 if you can relate!! by @theplannerssuite
