The comeback year 🔥❤️

About Artistic Director @maria.riano

BORN and raised in Colombia 🇨🇴 🌶

Maria has had the chance to work in projects/ companies such as Dance in a Day , CAMINOS Festival,Citadel Compagnie for Night Shift 2,Nostos Collective, Foolish Operations, The Bentway, Frog in Hand and Angela Blumberg.

Maria draws inspiration in her art from constant investigation, the eagerness of life, and human connection. This, as a result, is where Maria’s movement derives from, a place that is open-minded and curious.

-conversations-
dreamed up by @abbeyrichens and @maria.riano
In this small excerpt from the film, bodies investigate the curiosity and inevitable uncomfortability in talking to a new person. When we are vulnerable, open, and generous- conversations can be magic. But it is also a muscle, both speaking and listening require learning and relearning over and over. What conversations are you having? What ones are you avoiding?
