To the dog that chose me from the day she was born and through every up and down the past 13 years. You were my soul dog and you truly changed my life.

You were the light of every room. You never let anything get you down. You didn't have a mean bone in your body. You didn't care what we did or where we went as long as you were right by my side. You were fetch obsessed up until the very end. You were truly a special dog.

The bond we have will never be forgotten and you will live on in memories and the things you taught not only me but Maisy and Goose and everyone else's life she touched.

We spent some time at the river to beat the heat. Maisy is still unsure of water that is deeper than she can really stand. She found a way to beat this by using Raven as a makeshift stand. Maisy wants to be anywhere Raven is including swimming. I love the bond they keep forming together ❤️ I hope they stay best friends by @thepointerduo

Our last summer trip of the year ☀️

Mostly sunny days and a few cloudy days on the lake. Goose had his first time on the boat and he was born to be a boat dog.

They swam, had zoomies on the shore, and cuddles in their jackets on the chilly nights.

Goose wrapped the trip up with a cut foot from his zoomies. He is all patched up and healing now.

Overall, they had the time of their lives. by @thepointerduo

Happy International Dog Day!🐾🐾

They enjoyed pup cups for breakfast and pretty sure there are demands for more! Swipe to see some of their bloopers.

These two are the best duo who are up for any activity as long as we are all going together. Can't wait for all the adventures to come!

And to the dog who started it all, Raven. You're very missed by all.

Weekend adventures with the chaotic duo!

Saturday's hike had multiple coyote sightings and Maisy climbed a tree (she thought she was very cool)

Sunday we were back at one of our favorite spots and there was birds, mud and zero regrets... until the bath time

10/10 weekend for them, 0/10 for all the cleanup

Not even 10 mins after I took this picture, we were charged at by an offleash dog in a leashed section of the park. I was able to protect Maisy and Goose.

The owner? She was walking and calling her dog. No rush to get her dog that was actively trying to bite my dogs. I've never screamed so much in my life. I still feel angry.

Maisy and Goose were not harmed and for that I'm so thankful. I was bit by the other dog. I don't know if they are traumatized but I am. I also learned how incredibly hard it is to protect 2 dogs at once by yourself. I am thankful for the people that checked on the dogs and I before leaving in their own vehicles.

I've seen and heard so many other accounts of dogs being attacked but I never expected it to happen to us. We frequent offleash areas. Sometimes there are other dogs, sometimes not. We always leash in designated areas. They are both trained to recall. But none of that matters if others aren't following the rules. This dog charged us while they were on the leash in a leash designated area. They should of been safe.

Anyone have any tips for how to help in the future? I don't normally carry anything to prevent dog attacks. In this moment, I kicked the dog to prevent it from biting onto Goose's neck. Now, I really think I should be more prepared by @thepointerduo
