💕☕️ Alcohol Free Activities to Do in NYC!

One thing I've been loving about being back in NYC is discovering fun ways to meet new people that don't revolve around drinking!

I recently attended a Clothing Crawl hosted by @thepopupcareshop x @citygirlswhowalk and @citygirlswhocare , and I absolutely love the concept behind this event! 🥹💕

We met up at Think Coffee in Manhattan, where attendees could drop off clothing donations before heading out for a group walk through Washington Square Park.

The idea? Clean out your closet, grab a coffee, meet new people, and give back to the community all at the same time! 🫶

The clothing donations go toward stocking a Care Shop that supports women in need, which makes this experience even more meaningful.

💕 An opportunity to meet new people while supporting a good cause!

I've been making it a point to explore more activities in NYC that don't involve alcohol, and I love finding experiences that bring people together in such a positive way.

If you're looking to make new friends, get involved in your community, or just try something different, definitely keep an eye out for events like this!

Follow along as I share more alcohol free activities and experiences around NYC! 🗽✨

One of our attendees stopped by the Clothing Crawl with her adorable furry dog child to donate and support our mission. Because giving back is always better when we do it together!

Even our furry friends are showing up for community care! 🐾💛🥹

Big or small, every act of kindness makes a difference and impacts the work that we do. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, and helped make our very first Clothing Crawl special!

🎬 COME BEHIND THE SCENES WITH US! 👀🛍️💛

Ever wonder what goes into bringing a community event to life? Come with me as I take you behind the scenes of The Pop-Up Care Shop’s FIRST-EVER Clothing Crawl.

From touring thinkcoffee’s Mercer Street location to walking you through our stations, we’re giving you an inside look at how we’re turning a community walk into an opportunity to give back, connect, and show up for a cause.

Every station has a purpose, every donation makes a difference, and every person who shows up reminds us why we do this work.

Come for the walk. Stay for the impact. 👏🏾✨

Every woman deserves to feel cared for.

On Saturday, December 12, The Pop-Up Care Shop will host our annual Holiday Care Shop for a women’s shelter in Brooklyn, transforming the space into a free boutique where women experiencing homelessness can shop for clothing, accessories, and other essentials with dignity and choice.

This year, we’re also looking for beauty and wellness professionals to help make the day even more special. 💗
We’re seeking volunteers including:
✨ Hair Stylists (braid bar or simple styling)
💅 Nail Artists (express manicures or nail art)
🧖🏾‍♀️ Estheticians (mini facials or skincare consultations)
💄 Makeup Artists (express makeovers or mini tutorials)
💆🏽 Massage Therapists (5-minute shoulder, hand, or foot massages)

You don’t need to volunteer all day. We’re happy to work around your schedule!

📍CAMBA Broadway House Women’s Shelter in Bushwick, Brooklyn

If you’d like to donate your time and talents, we’d love to hear from you. Please send us a DM or email info@thepopupcareshop.org for more information.

Help us create a day filled with dignity, care, and community. 💕
