I got the chance to talk with @boldjourneymag about my entrepreneurship journey (the highs and lows) and some of the information that I think is key to succeeding as an entrepreneur;

Nothing is built overnight – it’s the result of showing up, setting goals, and putting in the work every day. I’m excited to see @theblackbook.app grow and empower our community of black beauty professionals and clients. Let’s keep going, one goal at a time!

There’s something so beautiful about women showing up for each other. 🥹💕 The energy in this room!

Everybody deserves to feel celebrated and loved like this.

Are you the friend who gets emotional at moments like these or the one screaming the loudest? Because I love BOTH 😂💕 by @theposhceo

My baby turned five months this month.

I said Let me take some pictures in the house cause we haven’t made it to a shoot yet.

Where do I begin? Motherhood has way of infinitely exceeding your expectations. whatever I thought it was gonna be—- I don’t think there’s much you can do to prepare for the shift That takes place in your life.

Isayoh is such a good baby. he’s always smiling. I’m not sure why he never smiles when I take the camera out lol. and he’s always watching since he was born…

He looks at you with those big eyes. I’m glad he did it here just to prove my point.

He’s growing very healthy, fitting in 12 month clothes. He’s has a lot of good head control. He’s eating purees and learning how to sit up on his own. 💙💙💙

I mean i had every plan and intention to post this yesterday before the day was over. But i got so sick this morning it was terrible. And who was the person
To drive me 4.5 hours from dc to Pittsburgh after getting about 30 minutes of sleep because i needed a hospital and we wasn’t waiting around at the dmv hospitals 😩

You packed all of our stuff and loaded the car and drove without a complaint, and made sure I was good the whole time because thats the type of man, husband and father you are.

I can’t really put into words how happy u make me and i couldnt imaging doing parenthood with anyone else

happy first fathers day my love 🫶🏾💓💓

Being pregnant is so interesting. I remember always being curious as to what the experience was like and then with it being my turn. Yes its sacred, its beautiful, its miraculous but its also very much exhausting, scary, and sacrificial.

Some days i wonder if i will EVER be doing this again and others feel like a breeze; one constant remains though the excitement of meeting you🩵😍‼️

Here are some pictures from our baby shower for Baby D🩵. I’m grateful for my new family that I met thru Darian and for my family lol. Getting an extended family has also been a blessing.

I want to say a huge thank you to our tribe. Everyone who came out and even for those who couldn’t make it thank you for the gifts sent from our registry, thank you for the prayers, the kind words, the positive thoughts and energy sent our way. Its truly a blessing to have people around you that wish you well and want to see you prosper and i know Baby D appreciates it all as well. 🩵🩵
