Life has a funny way of bringing things full circle. 🥹💕

Every baby shower we’ve had has been special in its own way, and this one was no different.

Baby #️⃣3️⃣ means we’ve done this before, but life looks so different now.

There were people there who’ve known us since before we had babies, friends who’ve watched us become parents and grow our family, family who’ve been there through it all, and newer friendships I’m so grateful found us in this season.

And now here we are… 10 years of marriage, two little boys later, celebrating our DAUGHTER. 🥹💕 Still kinda crazy to say.

I think that’s what made this day feel so full circle.

So many different parts of our lives coming together to celebrate this little girl we haven’t even met yet.

And whew… baby girl is already SO loved. 🥰

Definitely one of those days I know I’ll look back on and be really grateful we got to have. 🤍

The signs were there. This pregnancy has been different in ways I couldn’t ignore, 👀 I just didn’t want to jinx it. 😂 So when the doctor confirmed girl, I nearly lost it in that office.

Had to stop myself from dancing on the doctor’s desk. Squealed the entire drive home. Told the boys and they SCREAMED. And my husband? Shell shocked. He was fully convinced his family was cursed to only have boys 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

But here we are. Girl mom era incoming. 🎀

I didn’t know it was vision back then. I just knew I loved to create.

Body chains. Thigh chains. Statement earrings. Sculptural necklaces… I was making pieces like these over a decade ago.

2011 to 2016—and they still hold up. Still hit. Still feel ahead.

I put the dream on pause. But now… we press play.

This started off as a caption and turned into a whole letter 😅

He said I should share it….so here I am.

Dear @thetyjones,

Nine years married.

The year before the big 10.

And if I’m honest, we earned this year in sweat, tears, forgiveness, and faith.

Not just because of what we survived—though there’s been plenty.
But because of what we stayed for. What we held onto.

We’ve spent the last three years walking through fire that could’ve burned us down.
But instead…

It refined us.

We’ve learned how to love with our knees on the floor.
How to fight with grace.
How to hold space when we didn’t have the right words.

And we’re still here.
Still choosing each other.
Still building a life, even when we don’t always know what it looks like yet.

It's not about the curated moments or perfect pictures.
It's the unseen things —
the long talks, the prayer (together and apart),
the patience, the presence.
The moments where grace holds the space and God fills the gaps.

This is the year before 10—and I’m more grateful than ever.

Happy anniversary, my love.
You’ve seen me at my worst—and loved me through it.

Here’s to everything we’ve fought for.
And everything we still dream of becoming—together.

Goodbye summer, you were everything I needed and more 🌞💛. From weekend getaways to spontaneous days with the family, it’s been full of memories I’ll cherish. Between cookouts and running after my boys, we made the most of every moment. Looking back, I can’t believe how fast it all went by.

Sometimes we all need a little DIY therapy, and this was mine… I made this chair during those quarantine days when I started learning how to sew, and this was one of my very first projects. It came out great! The chair even made it to the blog, though I never announced the launch to y’all 😅. Then life threw some crazy curveballs and unexpected losses that took me out of the game a bit mentally, and I stepped back from a lot of things.

But here we are now—slowly finding my way back to the things that bring me joy. 💕

Now that we’ve moved into our new house, I’m rethinking my creative space, and this chair is still in the mix! I love it, but does it still match the new vision I have for the space? What would you do—keep it for the memories or go for a fresh start? 🪑🌟 Help me decide!
