Stitching and self finishing this wallet for my son felt extra special. He wanted one just like his Dad’s that I made over 10 years ago 🥹. He picked the colors himself, inspired by his favorite holiday (yes, we’re still watching Home Alone almost every night in July 😂).

I have a feeling he will treasure this for many years, and so will I ❤️

Yesterday a patient told me that Dolly was given to us by divine power to show us how God wants us to act and treat people — and that has stayed with me.

She was so much more than the sparkle, the hair, and the music. She showed us what it looks like to lead with kindness, give generously, make people feel seen, and put a little more goodness into the world.

Maybe that’s the best way we can honor her — not just by remembering Dolly, but by trying to be a little more like her. To be kinder. To give more. To love people well.

Designing a Waldo canvas at @skyzone wasn’t on my bingo card yesterday. 😂

Apparently this is how I relax now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly, the kids bouncing around and screaming somehow turned into white noise. 😂🪡

Also… is it just me, or does nearing 40 suddenly make you want to pick up a new hobby every other week? Needlepoint canvas designing might just be my favorite one yet. 🤍 taken in Kentucky by @thepreppypiece

The one appointment I never regret booking…

A facial. 🤍

And this may be wild to say, but I’d choose a facial over a full-body massage every time. There’s something about having my face massaged that puts me into relaxation mode faster than anything. 🫣

As a dermatology PA, I know facials aren’t a requirement for healthy skin, but they can be a great way to boost hydration, improve circulation, and leave your skin looking brighter and more refreshed.

I always add dermaplaning because it removes dead skin and peach fuzz, helps skincare absorb better, and makes makeup go on so much more evenly.

I’ve been going to Nantucket almost my whole life, and somehow I didn’t learn about the penny tradition until last year. ⚓️

Of course, once I heard about it, we had to stop at Brant Point Lighthouse and toss our pennies into the water. 🙌 The tradition says that if you throw a penny as you leave the island, you’ll return to Nantucket again someday.

So when I saw this Nantucket basket charm from @beauandro , I knew I had to have it.

I paired it with this purple chain I found from a local Nantucket artist at the Sustainable Nantucket Farmers & Artisans Market. If you’re visiting the island, put this on your list! It’s one of my favorite places to wander on Saturdays. ✨

The market is held Saturdays from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM on Cambridge & North Union Streets in downtown Nantucket.

Im so mad I didn’t learn this sooner and now I’m obsessed! 🙌 I’ve always tied scarves in a bow, but this braid is a game changer and doesn’t come undone.

Also if you visit Charleston be sure to put @belk in Mount Pleasant on your must stop list as I found this “new to me” purse there! They sell gently used luxury handbags via @whatgoesaroundnyc !
