No corn or camera just a simple door knock where the white oaks was falling done the trick. I could visibly see oaks in the middle of a field from the small road I was traveling back and forth and took a chance. It was the second door I knocked on that specific day and I got hit with, absolutely I would like some deer meat! 2 days later when I got free with about 3 hours left of daylight I grabbed my gear and headed straight to the white oak! I was in the stand for maybe 1 or 1.5 hours and I saw this old big bodied buck walk out straight to me. It has been 4 seasons since I hunted for a buck it was very short lived in my home state and a hunt I will remember for a long time. I got very very lucky! Definitely not my biggest Kentucky deer although how I harvested him I will not forget. 13 miles to the closest crop field weighing 230+ pounds definitely an old Kentucky mountain buck. #kentucky #kentuckyhunting #archery #fyp #hunting by @theprojectmediallc

Tennessee was fun! I think we will make our way back this season to see what new properties we can find!

We take some of the guess work out by using @huntwiseapp before and during our trips. It leads to interactions with people, helps us know where to knock and gets me in trouble sometimes 😂 in a good way! Let’s see what Ohio holds 😏….

That’s a wrap on a successful 2026 turkey season! It was a blast spending time with family friends and meeting new people along the way. Let’s get to the velvet 😉

Have the courage to ask for permission. Talk to land owners you never know what you might get!

What a morning! Late afternoon yesterday we spotted a really solid Tom and made a plan to go after him using @huntwiseapp. Well this morning the birds started talking early and we decided you don't leave talking birds to go after what could be a ghost. We ended up having more Toms and Jakes in our laps right at flydown than I thought was in the section. What a crazy couple of days for the KY boys. Congrats on a great bird @jake.t.outdoors. by @theprojectmediallc
