Yesterday was another amazing night at 2600 AP Tureaud Avenue where St. Augustine High School had its Open House last night. We Had over 500 outstanding families attend and get a full view of what this elite, real, and unique school & community has to offer in all phases of development & achievement.
And We had Over 80 aspiring young men baseball players in the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades come and get to meet our coaching staff, current program progress, and a get glimpse of all the future top level facilities & resources with our Purple Knight Baseball Program. This was a beautiful display of Black Excellence put on display to showcase who we are and how we do what we do since 1951! The Present and Future is Extremely Bright of Scholars, Band Members, & Top Level Athletes at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans for many many years to come! #RiseSons #ForTheGlory #PurpleKnightBaseball #ChampionsONLY💯 by @theprospectlab

I’m beyond blessed to announce my commitment to Lawson State! First, I want to thank God for everything He’s done for me. Without Him, everything I’ve accomplished wouldn’t be remotely close to possible.
I want to thank my family for supporting me throughout all the ups and downs and for always being there every step of the way.

Next, I want to thank Coach Moss, Coach Theus, Coach Toni, Coach Greene, Coach D, Coach Chavez, Coach Blackburn, and Coach Vaughan. These guys have made me the player and the person that I am today.

Thank you to TPL for being a big part of my commitment today. Thank you to Coach Travis, Josh, and Dunbar for welcoming me to your program and making me feel like I’m at home.

To my teammates, we’re more than just teammates—we’re brothers. I’ve always got your back, both on and beyond the baseball field.

To my friends, I want to thank you guys for the support, the laughter, and always reminding me that I’m never alone in anything that I do.

Lastly, my mom—I could write about you all day. I love you to the moon and back. Thank you for being my mentor, my first love, and my best friend.
