Can you believe we’re already 7 months into 2025? I wanted to take a moment to do a fun reintroduce of myself—especially for those who are new here!

I’m Dr. Jerica, PT, DPT—a passionate Physical Therapist committed to patient-centered care and helping people live fuller, healthier lives through movement and healing.

Currently, I serve in an outpatient clinic, where I specialize in treating general orthopedic conditions. Every day, I’m inspired by the strength and resilience of my patients and the transformative power of physical therapy.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your continued support means the world to me. I look forward to sharing more insights, experiences, and knowledge as we grow a community that values wellness, holistic health, and the life-changing impact of PT.

With gratitude,
💕 Dr. J

Truly honored to attend the Black Health Ball, where we celebrated the power of community, recognized leaders driving meaningful change, and honored excellence across healthcare. It was an inspiring evening highlighting the impact of those committed to improving the health and well-being of our communities. Congratulations once again to all of the 40 Under 40 honorees. Your leadership, dedication, and service continue to inspire and create lasting change. 🥂✨. #blackhealthconnect #blackhealthball2026 taken in Reginald F. Lewis Museum by @theptcentricdpt

Oh, how time flies! This month’s recap is a special appreciation post.

In May 2025, I embarked on a new journey and launched my website. It’s hard to believe that an entire year has already passed!

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and followed along on this journey. Your support has meant so much to me, and I couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you for being part of this milestone and for helping make this first year so memorable. Here’s to many more to come! 🙏🏾🎂🎊 #DrJ #theptcentricdpt #celebration by @theptcentricdpt

Last month I taught a CPR/First Aid lab focused on real-world skills, including how to tape for injuries like sprains and edema. It was an interactive, hands-on session, and I even let a few students practice their taping techniques on me! #theptcentricdpt #professor #physicaltherapist by @theptcentricdpt

Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from undergraduate students who are preparing to apply to PT school. In our first meeting, we went over this quick prep checklist, which helps them focus on the items they may still need to complete before applying. #theptcentricdpt #drj #doctorofphysicaltherapy #ptschool by @theptcentricdpt
